Had a stunning view of the mountains from my balcony and breakfast was good. The location is also ideal because it is a 10 minute walk to Old Town Annecy. It also took me 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to Annecy Central bus station where I caught a Flixbus back to Geneva Switzerland.

Menthon-Saint-Bernard is a very small town but it has a bar, restaurants, bakers and a well-stocked "local" supermarket. People very friendly! Where nearby Annecy is a beautiful, bustling city, Menthon is better for those who prefer the relative peace of the lake and mountains, yet is only a half hour drive into the city. There is also a bus service. Obviously very popular with cyclists, it is a VERY cycle-friendly place! There were lots of annoying roadworks at the time of our visit. We ate at the hotel and at the Chalet by the lake - nice, chilled pub-grub type food.DAPHNEFrance - 10Scored 10

The staff (there are a lot of them) are really helpful. The room was very well laid out with a large bedroom, amazing view and little balcony with 2 chairs, a closet, bathroom and separate loo. The spa was closed when we were so I can not say but I'm sure it's great because I looked at it.
