The room was a good size and very clean. There was a place to put your suitcase and a stool as well as desk area and chair (although a little snug at the bottom of the bed).
The bathroom was really clean, there was no black mould or gross orange marks from human fat and oils that you often find. Small towels, but not terrible.
A great idea that there was fresh, filtered and cold water dispensers on each of the landings, which was brilliant for filling up my water bottle. I thought that was a really great idea.
Extra pillows were good, I always want more than one.
Breakfast buffet was good. There was always a couple of options of homemade / local cakes (the chocolate and pear was especially delicious). The croissants and pain au chocolat were crispy and not the usual greasy frozen kind you usually get in some hotels.
The restaurant was great. Good food, good service, can't complain.
Very handy location, ample parking onsite. Very friendly and helpful statff, and although I always try and speak French, all the staff spoke English.

Sébastien, the delightful owner, welcomed us at the entrance & showed us around the beautiful gite. He has spared no expense in providing every possible comfort / luxury. Private parking, very well designed gite ( well equipped kitchen, lovely shower, comfy bed…)
And he was kindness itself when he found that I was taken to hospital in the morning with the awful respiratory viral infection. He called several times to see if he could help in any way. What a lovely man ! And a lovely gite ! Thank you dear Sebastien ❣️

the hotel employee did not know English. he didn't understand what I was saying so he didn't open the entrance gate. He didn't let me into the hotel. I slept all night in the car outside the hotel. This is unacceptable

The room was lovely and clean despite going through a major refurbishment. Breakfast was delivered to your room whilst this was going on. Staff lovely and helpful. Stayed here several times and it's location is very central and ideal for cafes, shopping etc. Secure underground carpark.

Horrible location. In an industrial/ commercial estate.
Horrible location. In an industrial/ commercial estate. I booked because I needed to use the restaurant. Was advised by email while en route (48 hour journey) restaurant closed all weekend. Only option was to get in car and drive again ( already driven 8 hours) and leave the dogs . Only walking distance option was a terrible Chinese buffet. Everything else closed. Apparently it is in the terms of booking. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Needed to be flagged very prominently and it wasn’t. I would never have booked if it had been obvious the restaurant was closed. Hotel claims we weren’t charged for 2 dogs. I can’t verify as I didn’t keep the invoice. Payed over €100 for a dingy tiny room in need of updating, horrible location, hotel minimally functioning. Then got pushback from hotel on posting an entirely fair account of my experience. The resorting to “guest blaming” is reflective of the of the experience delivered . Not good enough Best Western: It was a poor experience. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay her, unfortunately.
