Radisson Blu Grand Hotel & Spa, Malo-Les-Bains, hotel in Dunkerque

Facing the beachfront, Radisson Blu Grand Hotel & Spa, Malo-Les-Bains offers 4-star accommodation in Dunkerque and features a terrace, restaurant and bar.

This hotel opened recently (less than a year ago) and everything is still new and up to recent standards. The sea view can be great - but conversely the one from the back of the hotel is really bad, so make sure you secure a room in the front.

Small city, not too much to do but just enough.

Small city, not too much to do but just enough. Able to spend time on the beaches and go to museums. Many options to go out for a drink or dinner, highly recommend eating at Moon shiners. Centre is quite compact so everything is walking distance.

For war history enthusiasts, Dunkerque is a must!

For war history enthusiasts, Dunkerque is a must! It's steeped in history. Lots to see and within a relatively small radius. Very easy to get further afield too, with Bruges being just an hour away aswell as easily accessible to Lille and other places of interest. Excellent ferry service with DFDS and only 30 minutes drive to the centre. There are street markets and some lovely bars and restaurants. Our favourite became Woll Street, with the fabulous Julian and team on hand, very friendly, great menu, outside and inside seating and a happy hour for drinks at the weekend. They even made a dish which wasn't on their menu for me and allowed me to buy some delicious pastries at a nearby bakery and eat them at the bar! Buses are free and an excellent service. The tourist information office is located in the beautiful Belfry and they are super helpful.

    Dunkerque has famous history.

Dunkerque has famous history. The beach was the site of that action. There is a museum to tell the story here. The beach is a large sandy beach with a promenade and restaurants. There is a sculpture garden, a marina and an art exhibition.

    Hidden gem!

Hidden gem! The town itself has a rich history, but so do the beaches and forts. The museum’s really surprised us, as well as the Fort des Dunes, just to the east. Massive fort under the dunes! You have no clue it is even there and with amazing history! Owned by the Spanish, French, English, Belgians and Germans!

The room was spacious and clean and the view was delightful. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. Parking was safe and easy to access. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful Cannot fault them at all.10 out of 10. Continental breakfast was fresh and plenty to set you up for the day. The location could not be more central. close to the sea front, restaurants, bistros cafés and the main shopping centre. Yet the location was quite. We will be staying in the hotel again, most definitely.

The location was perfect for visiting Dunkerque. Within minutes walk away to the centre and marina and a comfortable walk to the beach. With free busses, nothing was out of reach. Kevin is a lovely host. He waited to greet us, even though we were later than we had arranged. He showed us right up to the apartment and all facilities. He was on hand to solve any issues promptly.

Very good hotel for business stays. Unfortunately their Satellite does not work, 3 different rooms, 3 stays, no international channels like BBC or CNN worked, and satellite all together went off all the time. Internet does not always work well in all rooms either I realized, but besides that a good hotel, very friendly staff
