Room was clean comfortable and the staff was great. Breakfast was a bonus and so was the cheese platter and free drinks in the bar across the road every night.

I think this is a such a great pub hotel - the rooms are so roomy and comfy and really quiet considering what a big busy pub is downstairs. I really like the decor, the shower was great, mini bar and room service from the pub were great. It feels very European. Location can't be beaten and it's great to just take up residence and people watch.

The room was so nicely decorated and very comfortable. It was great location for my stay close to family. Being able access a meal and breakfast included also makes the stay great. Access via the car park also makes coming and going easy. Free parking also a bonus. Be happy to return again soon.

Unfortunately we were there on Monday to Wednesday when the town is very quiet and the famous market closed-only open on weekend. Fremantle is a very walkable place.
Fremantle is a very walkable place. It's mostly flat and most things are within a 1 -2 km walk. We did not have a car and did not miss it. High Street is the place for cafes and shops. Bathers beach is great for restaurants and sunsets. The pace in Fremantle is slow, which suited us. We had a wonderful 4 days here and would recommend Fremantle to anyone wanting to experience the friendliness of Western Australia and enjoy that small town feel. It’s a nice historical place where it’s also convenient to board the ferry to Rottnest Island . The Foods & Beverage scene is very vibrant , not just within Fremantle but also the neighbouring areas like Cottesloe .

Fremantle has a warm, nostalgic place in my heart but over the years it has become decidedly tatty. Yes, it has history to offer but the general atmosphere in the town is one of cafés, eateries and non-descript shops offering uninteresting souveniers. The Fremantle town council is badly in need of a strategy to create a town that serves the broader community beyond a place to drink coffee any time in the week

Lots of cafes and restaurants,food was great. Markets were amazing and worth visiting. The beach was small in Fremantle but very clean. There is a great atmosphere and it is very safe to walk around with good transport links to Perth.

The parking was really convenient compare to other places we stayed at in Fremantle. Probably the most standout thing was the staff- every single staff member I came into contact with was really friendly and super helpful. I was travelling by myself with my one-year-old son and staff were really forthcoming with offering help with my bags. The views over the river from various parts of the hotel are pretty special also.

On the weekends Fremantle is a busy bustling vibrant precinct with loads of restaurants, cafes, bars to enjoy. The unit was light and airy spotlessly clean and well equipped with a tiny balcony.
