Location was great, area of convenience as I had no car. But I couldn’t stay at Ayr Hotel as it had stairs n I can’t do stairs especially with a 20 kilo suitcase, an overnight bag n tray of damper my sister had baked for the funeral.

The beds were superb brand new and firm. Room was so clean and had everything needed.
Sarah and husband were the best. Bronco, the dog, would be the highlight for children but we enjoyed him as well.
Would stay there again, no doubt

A much needed breather from a stressful emotionally charged day. The unit was just lovely with clean white sheets and towels. The staff obviously care about the Park and it shows.

Ayr is a bustling sugar cane township, with 4 sugar mills in the region. There is a large number of women's dress shops, variety stores, opportunity and secondhand stores, large supermarkets, car sales yards, agricultural machinery suppliers, and more!!
The township has a primary school and secondary schools, and a large infrastructure for a large agricultural community. Ayr is close to a large major city, Townsville, and has very attractive beaches and tourist attractions within the region.

A great little town with lots of facilities- services, shops, cafes, hotels, motels and recreational venues. Easy parking in the main street or side streets to access same. Would recommend the Coral Trout and 'Steak and Ribs' from the Queens Hotel.

When travelling to Ayr you must stay at the Tropical Motor Inn. The people are so friendly and kind. They help you with anything you need and are always there if you need anything. The food is amazing in the adjoining restaurant. I can recommend Ayr or the Tropical Motor in highly enough.

Ayr is a small town in the Burdekin and has lots of history along with Home just down the road.
Although my visit was for work I always try and eat at a different place but coffee and breakfast is always at Del Santo's Deli on the corner of MacMillian and Parker Street.
Ayrline room was above expectation with a different layout to most motels. Very roomy, quiet and comfortable. Staff were excellent - just what I needed after a harrowing drive. Bed lamps were great (not blinding the other sleeper). Ground level with parking outside the door.
A little out of town, but easy to drive about 5 mins to centre. The staff were great with advice on eating places. Ayr is a great town with much to see and do. Rooms were bright and airy and a pool was a bonus. Barbeque area for use near pool.

I really enjoyed the space, cleanliness, and location of the motel. I found the hotel to be warm and welcoming, and the room was comfy and quiet, which I appreciated after a long work day.
central in Ayr. External lights a bit bright, but went off about 10pm. relatively quiet location. Room and bathroom basic but clean.
Left early so did not have breakfast.
