Our interpreted Shiho was very helpful and we were happy to spend the day with her. We had booked one night there but we stayed added one more night as this place is really lively with a unique atmosphere.

A Japanese breakfast can be enjoyed at the property for an additional fee. Clean property, comfortable and well located! Close to restaurants/bars/izakayas. The lady who welcomed us was so nice and helpful! We arrived late so she called some restaurants to see if they were still open so we could have diner. We found a big spider in our room and she helped us get rid of it. Very nice accommodation and wonderful host!

Air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms at this Ryokan feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and are equipped with an en suite bathroom, a TV and kettle. For your comfort, you will find free bath amenities, towels, yukata robes and a hairdryer. Really nice location with food and station close by. Nice rooms and bath. Staff really nice even though we spoke little Japanese.

It was very magical to stay in a place like this. The room was spacious, the staff were professional and made everything in their hands to make our stay more special. It was my friend's birthday and we had a great time sipping nihonshu at the big tatami room. Would totally come back.

Facilities like flat-screen TV and fridge are equipped in all rooms. Some rooms have shared bathrooms. The onsen experience was superb. It was not too crowded. There was an outdoor public bath with a surreal vibe. Remember to bring some money there to enjoy the milk after the onsen. The staff was really nice. I lost my JR pass there, and they helped me ship the pass to my next hotel. Very appreciated their effort on finding it.

Located in Akizuki, Akitsuki Kominka Ryokan You boasts a garden, terrace and free WiFi throughout the property. Free parking is provided for guests at this accommodation. The accommodation provides a shared lounge and luggage storage space for guests. the owner is a quite person but very kind and considerate. she was one of very few accommodation-owners who speak english. 1. specially she took care of our electrical bicycles which need battery charging. she made an indoor space in a different house which is perfect. 2. also the kitchen which is well devised and like home kitchen was very nice to use. 3. the room we stayed has so nice mountain view, which was tranquil. 4. during our stay, it was heavy rain and we, bike traveller, probably made the space dusty. but she understood the situation and was generous to provide more towels to wipe water on body. 5. we vediotaped the house because her retro-renovation of the old farm house(actually looks old shop house in a farming village) was very intriguing and informative. (very japanese as well as very moderate and inexpensive)
