The breakfasts had a great variety, and were different every day, with a mix of Western and Japanese items available. The onsen was fun to walk to, since a bridge connects the main building and the onsen building. This was also my first onsen experience, and there are very informative instructions on how to use the facilities properly. It set me up for success at every other bath I ended up going to on my trip, and I'm really grateful. Would highly recommend going during the winter, to enjoy very pretty snowfall and snowy mountain views. I want to return during the spring or summer to enjoy the outdoor art village activities as well!!
