We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect, right by the lake with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji. The breakfast was delicious, and we loved the variety each morning.
A special thanks to the owner and the staff for their incredible hospitality. They went above and beyond, offering to drop us at the station and even pick us up if needed—especially helpful with a toddler. Their kindness made our trip so much easier and enjoyable. We’re really grateful and can’t wait to come back!

The Taiheikan family was very welcoming and friendly! Even if I was there for just one day, it seemed like they knew me since years. The room was a nice old-fashioned japanese style with the view of Mt Fuji, which was what I expected. The onsen was very nice, breakfast was superb and an experience, i recommend every foreign tourist to try it.

I absolutely loved the onsen with its stunning view of Mount Fuji. The traditional food was exquisite, beautifully prepared, and perfectly presented. The facilities were exceptional, and the service was warm and attentive, making the stay feel very personal.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
