Amazing experience of traditional Japanese hospitality. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were on top of everything and would do anything to assist. The roof terrace with foot bath has an amazing view of mount Fuji. The kaiseki style dinner was rich in quantity and our server Sara was great and explained everything thoroughly. We booked a private onsen and It was really worth it. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel to go around. The shuttle bus service was great and very convenient.

This is a wonderful guest house and the team here have exceptional service. Whilst they have little English this was no barrier to them assisting us (through goggle translate) and make us feel incredibly welcome. On our day of the departure they even drive us to the bus station rather than calling us a taxi. It is perfectly located to everything and it's easy to walk, ride a bike or catch the local tourist bus all around the lake. We loved our stay here. Quite, comfortable and traditional.
