Tamakiya Ryokan is located in Tokamachi, 24 km from Yuzawa and 20 km from Nozawa Onsen.

Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms include a seating area where you can relax. You will find a kettle in the room.

Few reasons we chose to stay in Tamakiya: -It locates in a countryside helps us slow down a bit and enjoy the snowy nature. -Great experience while enjoying the in-room Onsen + seeing snowing right in front of us. -Tamakiya offers some great food, both nights we selected the French cuisine with wine, sake pairing. The food was delicious and Yuichi-san shared his marvelous sake pairing technique by bubbling it, added an extra favoring in which the goal is to refine our tasting journey. Of course traditional kanzake (warm sake) was served too during the dinner course.
