The onsen was amazing such a great experience. The room was huge and it was our first experience in a Japanese style hotel and it was great. The staff were really nice but it was difficult because we only spoke a very small amount of Japanese. if you eat fish, the traditional Japanese dinner was amazing!

Located within 23 km of Kenrokuen Garden and 20 km of Myoryuji - Ninja Temple, B&B MIKAWA - Kanazawa Fish Harbour provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kanazawa.

We loved the hospitality of the owner Sasu! He upgraded our room, gave us a beer on arrival and free laundry use, drove us out to the restaurant. Then he picked us up again and we having some fun on the end of the karaoke microphone …. All on the way home. He is keen to make sure his guests enjoy there stay. The facilities and breakfast supplies were excellent also. This location is out of the city but allowed us to have a bike ride along the harbour, and having a car made it easy to access. It was a top place to stay overnight !!👍

Kohan-no-Yado Morimoto, hotel in Komatsu

With a history of about 130 years, Kohan-no-Yado Morimoto offers spacious Japanese-style accommodations with views of Lake Shibayamagata.

We had an exciting, wonderful one-night stay at this beautiful and luxury Ryokan hotel, which is situated directly on the seaside with a marvelous sight on the sea and the Japanese Alps in the background, directly from our room and from the traditional hot Onsen bath (open the whole night!). The dinner and the breakfast in your private “séparée” were extraordinary, Japanese kitchen at it’s best, and the personal of this family-run Ryokan was extremely friendly and accommodating. They have also a bus shuttle from Kagaonsen railway station, which is a stop of the new Shinkansen prolongation opened only in March 2024

Beautiful Ryokan, you really get a sense of the history there, we loved exploring the place. The hospitality was also amazing, we thought we were stranded at the station but they called us and picked us up with a private bus even though we arrived late. The room was stunning and so was the public onsen. Special mention to the staff, she had amazing English and helped us with everything, arranging buses to the local tourist spots and picking us up. Highly recommend, an amazing experience.
