Really nice to stay in Ryokan and tick it off; the building was really nice and unlike anywhere else we've stayed in Japan.
The upstairs room has a balcony looking out over the forest & an en-suite.
I'd recommend double stacking the mats for a comfier sleep!
Nobori is situated in Ome, 42 km from Mount Takao, 46 km from Sanrio Puroland, and 48 km from Fuchu Park. The 2-star ryokan has mountain views and is 41 km from Tamarokuto Science Center.

This is an old, private home style guesthouse and if you set your expectations accordingly you'll have the most wonderful, traditional Japanese experience. The staff is caring but with limited English. Breakfast and dinner were sensational - served traditionally, seated at low tables on the tatami flooring. We wore the yukatas that were provided clean each day. We slept on futons that were rolled out on the floor each night. The pillows are the traditional 'bean filled' lumpy ones. ;-)
There are large, segregated shared bathrooms and other shared toilets.
Set 31 km from Tamarokuto Science Center, Okutamaji offers 4-star accommodation in Ome and features a garden. This ryokan provides free private parking and a lift.

The diner and breakfast, the hot bath, and the scenery around.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
It was in a convenient location close to Mt Takao, great for a hiking trip with friends and family. The interior design was very international and colourful, while it still had a classic Japanese room with tatami mats, which made for a fun blend of cultures. The beds were comfortable. The staff in the restaurant downstairs attached to the property were very friendly and accommodating.
Good hostel near a popular area for trekkers. The interior is very well kept and new. Good value for money. Good onsen nearby, and not far from the train station.
Beautiful old house run by a few people. Don’t expect service . It’s just a homestay. Lovely large tatami rooms for the family. It’s basic but pleasant. Lovely house and run by some kind people who leave you alone. Breakfast is provided. Suburban area has a few places to eat and. Starbucks nearby.
