The property is just a 10-minute walk from Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, Penang Museum and the large Chinese clan house of Khoo Kongsi. Penang International Airport is a convenient 30-minute drive away. Location was perfect. The entire hotel was beautifully decorated and comfortable and spacious.

Wonderful hotel - beautifully designed in traditional historic style. The style reminded me of the HK movie In the mood for Love and it felt like walking into the past. But please note the area around it is a bit rundown and only starting to be restored - so if you are looking for modernity this is not your place. However, you are short walk away from historic old town. So for us it was perfect. The actual rooms are spacious, equipped with modern TV with Netflix & coffee maker. Absolute gem is the staff - attentive and kind and very helpful in suggestions of what to visit and where to eat in the neighbourhood. Thanks for all your help :) Breakfast is great - they offer western options and also possibility to try Chinese breakfast (different every day - you get info what is it when you sign for it day before). Pool is small, but after exploring Georgetown very good for refreshing.

Situated within the UNESCO World Heritage city of Georgetown, Coffee Atelier is a collection of 5 beautifully-restored shophouses dating back to 1927. Featuring spacious suites with free Wi-Fi, it an art gallery and its own coffee museum. You can book your stay without hesitation, it's a perfect place to explore Georgetown and the rest of the island! The staff hosted us exceptionally well: like a concierge at top class hotel they were very informative and provided support during our stay. The place is located very centrally, but it's located away from noisy roads or bars/restaurants, so it's perfect. The bonus on top are the rooms itself in their unique heritage style, they must be experienced.

Campbell House is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Penang Museum and is surrounded by a variety of local shopping and eating options. It provides beautifully designed rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi. *Everything is exceptional at Campbell House. *The entire staff was incredibly efficient, friendly, and helpful. For example, Nardya, the owner, took lots of time sitting with me to help me plan my excursions around Penang. *The hotel has been restored magnificently. My room was a beautiful vintage restoration, yet contained all the needed modern amenities. *Breakfast was super with lots of choices. And the hotel's Italian restaurant was outstanding and authentic, well worth visiting for a meal. *They even furnish your mini-fridge with pitchers of cold water and homemade ice tea and a small pitcher of milk for your tea if you desire it. I also enjoyed the little piece of homemade cake they bring you each afternoon for a snack. *Excellent central location in Georgetown. *One of the most pleasant hotel experiences I've enjoyed in a long time. Highly recommended.
