When I came to Iwaso it was a perfect, the staff was very kind and helpfull and the room was big and comfy. We had 2 night stay it Iwaso and we really enjoy everything there. 厳島いろは is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. The hotel offers a restaurant and Japanese-style rooms with free wired internet access. Small and cosy hotel with Japanese style - a hidden gem. Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful view. Very good beds and everything we could wish for. We enjoyed the Public Bath on top of the building and the half board was exceptional.

The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle with green tea bags. All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. Everything was perfect. Japanese style bedroom, very spacious and comfortable with a sea view. Even though, you could not see the famous Tori gate from the bedroom, the view was still amazing and so relaxing to wake up to. Breakfast was served for 500 yen upon reservation and was nice to have. Definitely recommend staying here.

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. It is a 1-minute walk to Miyajima Aquarium and a 15-minute to Itsukushima Shrine. Room is big, exceptional service from the staff, very attentive to our needs. Went out of the way to arrange a shuttle service for us to the ferry. Would love to stay here again! Dinner and breakfast was good

Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire building. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 15-minute walk away. Very clean. It was nice to have a toilet in the room. Staff was very nice and the Japanese style breakfast had a lot of variety and was very hearty and delicious!
