We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Restaurants, a supermaket nearby. very clean , wifi, hot shower available always. I had an amazing stay here.

Tuk Tuk Timbul Bungalows in Tuk Tuk provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. This guest house provides free private parking, full-day security and free WiFi. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Their rooms were unique with a traditional batak style or even a regular brick wall chalet. It seemed like an orchard with so many different kinds of fruit trees. We had a room that faced the sunrise and we could even see the sunset within the resort, a few steps away to the other side. The room was comfortable and clean with good ventilation but as you're surrounded by nature, be prepared for some bugs that might have snuck in. Evan from reception was extremely helpful and assisted us to arrange tours for us and give us suggestions on where we should go. Rahman was also very kind and helpful to give a tour of the resort and even the names of the fruits. We even managed to try the local avocados (it has a sweet aftertaste which is different from what I am used to but delicious irregardless).

Located 3 metres from Lake Toba, Mas Cottages features traditional Bataknese-style exteriors with simply furnished rooms. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in the restaurant and free on-site parking is provided.

Guests can relax on the sun loungers set by the lake or rent a bicycle to explore the surroundings of Lake Toba. Laundry and massage services are available upon request. Good location, beautiful views, kind and helpfull staff.
