This place is a hidden gem. The room was large and basic, with everything that we needed. Very clean, comfy beds, lots of extra pillows. The room had an iron and ironing board, which was very useful, expecially if your there for business. The bathroom was great with a bath and constant hot water.
The bar connected to the rooms, was very nice, with a log fire, a great selection of drinks and very taste food, and the breakfast was excellent. A full English with the best sausages I have had for a long time. I need to know what they are.
The best part of this place is the staff. I highly recommend this, expecially if your there for business.

Cute, rustic property. Very comfortable bed. Garden/sitting out area looked very pretty and in the sunshine would be a lovely place to relax. Owners were welcoming and friendly.
We were upgraded by Andre the Operations Manager which was lovely. Such a nice location with plenty of shops and restaurants close by.
Always a wonderful stay at Sopwell House. The complimentary upgrade to the Chic room was excellent! Lunch at The Conservatory was great, coffee at The Sitting Room was lush, the spa was lovely, as always, cocktails at Octegan Bar were superb, dinner was delicious, breakfast was varied and tasty. My dietary requirements were catered to amazingly, and the staff were all absolutely lovely! See you again soon :)
Lovely place for romantic weekend!
lovely property. great location. awesome facilities. treatments at the spa were good, relaxing but a bit expensive. upon arrival we were not happy with our room we were given, the hotel upgraded our room at no extra charge which was amazing. But otherwise the overall experience was fabulous. there’s even charging station’s for electric vehicles!
we received a complimentary room upgrade which included a bottle of champagne which was very lovely. the bed was very comfortable and big. food in the restaurant was delicious both dinner and breakfast. staff were excellent though
It was our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely 'Happy anniversary' dessert awaiting us in our room! During dinner, I had a problem with my dessert and this was swiftly resolved with a bonus free cocktail. Staff were friendly and attentive. The pool and jacuzzi was great. Food in the restaurant was delicious! The atmosphere and surrounding grounds were very quiet, relaxing and tranquil. Would highly recommend staying here!
It was our mini-honeymoon and the staff prepped the bed with pedals, champaign and swan towels, as well as a hand written letter, it was lovely and a total surprise! They also upgraded our room!
Staff - The staff around the hotel were pleasant and accommodating. Facilities - The weather was lovely which meant we were able to enjoy the outdoor sports, walking trail, and al fresco drinking. Eden Spa - Capacity is very limited, there are two changing rooms and two showers in the ladies area. The pool is more of a jacuzzi and smaller then it looks but the overall spa experience is very tranquil and relaxing. Grounds - they are beautiful
