Situated in the quiet hamlet of Littley Green in the heart of the Essex countryside, The Compasses is a Victorian Pub steeped in history and tradition. With free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access for all guests, it also offers a bar and a restaurant. Everything. Last minute booking (day before) nad we were delighted. Gorgeous little spot. The pub was fab, the meal was great. Room had everything - plenty of space and a comfy bed - all we needed for one night as we were touring the area. Have stayed in 15+ place over the UK in the past month and this was the best in terms of value and how nice it was.

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage for guests. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Everything here was wonderful—clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were amazingly helpful—we arrived early and they held our bags while we explored the city. We wanted to stay in town after check out and they kept our bags again. The breakfast was delicious with great variety to select from.
