Boat trips to nearby islands. Private beautiful beach as well as the deck in the back where there is a beautiful mangrove lagoon where you can see the sunsets and swim with fluorescent plankton if the moonlight isn’t too strong. Excellent breakfasts as were other meals. Would really love to come back one day!

Mompox is a super cute colonial-style city, and the hotel is a great example of this style. The building is very beautiful, with a nice courtyard and a swimming pool. The suite even has its own little garden with a private pool. The room is fully equipped with AC, fan, fast Wi-Fi, etc. The staff were very friendly, and prepared delicious arepas for breakfast. The location is ideal by the riverside, and close to some very nice terrace bars and restaurants.

The accommodation provides nightclub and room service. This is a beach club. Expect some poolside activity and loud music. Check their Instagram page before booking so you won’t be one of those disappointed want-to-be-secluded-couples… We were completely aware of this and our family with 3 little ones enjoyed every second of it including moments of romantic and quiet stay. Once the day crowds are gone at 5pm it turns to an even more amazing place. The staff were so accommodating for every need much more than we were expecting. Food is great no dish disappointed. Either poolside or cabañas are always priority for guests over day-pass visitors so don’t worry. Communication for every room service need with WhatsApp was flawless. Ocean is a bit choppy but you can find rockless entrance spots. We will definitely return. Thanks Dani y Jorge
