Superb hotel! Staff super friendly and was really welcoming. Our plane was delayed so we arrived late into the next day and checking in we was told we had been upgraded to a city view which we thought was a really nice gesture. Would 100% stay again and location handy for the light rail and places walkable if you like a walk like we do.

Positioned in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon, this hotel is adjacent to Director Park and Fox Tower. It is within 3 blocks of the Portland Art Museum and 10 minutes' walk from Providence Park. An on-site restaurant is featured.

We had an excellent stay. From the first walk in the hotel and greeted by friendly reception staff which allowed us early check in, we felt really comfortable. I would especially like to mention Kuba who went above our expectation. Full of information about the local area and sightseeing places even remembered our names the next day. The rest of the staff were great too. Bed was very comfortable, bath towels were soft and fluffy and the entire room was really clean which was refreshing after our last not that clean hotel. We had a room facing side of the hotel therefore it was quiet in the night despite the central location. Downstairs tavern had some great wine list available and they even allowed me to bring a glass of wine to my room when my husband didn't feel like socialize. We used public transport everywhere which is excellent in Portland. You cant beat $1.25 (seniors or $2.50 adult) fare to the airport (40 mins away).

The common room in the lobby was great! We were there with family for an engagement and it was a great place to meet. The rooms were very roomy and comfy! Also, the front desk staff found out we were there for the engagement of our daughter and left a congrats card and a box of chocolates in our room. WOW! Very nice!

The hotel is lovely (super comfy beds and cozy rooms!) with a beautiful interior with periodic character, and we had a wonderful time there. The location is perfect for a short stay in Portland, and offers a valet service for those with a car. We stayed there as part of our honeymoon trip back in October and received best in class service from the Hotel Manager, Mr. Jean Marc and his team.

The staff was simply outstanding and went above and beyond when I said that I had planned this stay for my partner’s birthday. Alongside an upgrade came a bottle of champagne, and many laughs and smiles along the way. Claire was particularly wonderful — she is going to go very far in hospitality! I hope everyone who stays at Hotel Lucia has the same fantastic experience that we did! -Sam & Joe, NJ

The room and the bed were really comfortable. It was a great place to relax and a little haven to come back to at the end of the day. My partner liked the gym. I liked that we could open the window, so didn’t have to rely solely on aircon (a rarity these days). We had a good breakfast via room service from the restaurant next door. The staff were lovely and helpful. The black and white photos by David Hume Kennelly all around the hotel are fantastic - it’s like going to a free art exhibition!

We took the cheap upgrade to a bigger room and glad we did. The room was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Sam on the checkin desk was such a lovely, welcoming personality. We enjoyed the tea/coffee and fresh cookies complimentary too.

The location of this hotel was fantastic. Walking didstance to many highly rated eateries and some cool bars! Front Desk was outstanding! I can't recall the gentleman's name when we checked in but he was so welcoming, provided some great tips of places to go, and as we were celebrating our anniversary the team added a bottle of wine to our room. Very nice gesture. 100% recommend and the hotel!
