Picked up at Thai Immigration by owner. Unexpectedly , restaurant standard meal prepared by owners on our arrival for a very reasonable cost. Our hosts could do nothing more to make our overnight stay a pleasure. Transportation of our group of four with large luggage items to bus depot was done again as part of our stay after a lovely cooked breakfast. The rooms as the photos depict, are small but very clean and comfortable.

We spent only a few hours in the hotel (night). The pool was refreshing in the evening. Lovely helpful staff arranging tuktuk for us for the morning. Pleasant atmosphere. My husband enjoyed their curry.

Outrageously good value at £6 a night! Our room was in a teak house style unit in lovely quiet gardens. I didn’t get chance to use it but the pool is absolutely lovely. Bonus as it’s close to 40degrees! I’d defo go back here and a great spot to lay your head before or after the slow boat to Laos

Huge room with amazing view. Attentive host. Lovely grounds. Very relaxing. Quiet, remote location away from the main road and town. Ideal peaceful place to stay before crossing into Laos.

Location was great overlooking the Mekong River as I was staying for 2 nights b4 crossing in Loas. The rooms are really clean, big & comfy, & staff are friendly offering a in house laundry service at good price. The swimming pool is lovely & there is access to a nice pedestrian/cycle pathway in each direction along the Mekong. If you are after a little luxury along Yr travels then this is probably up there in terms if that in Chiang Khong.

Lovely family business with superb friendly service. The room is spacious, bright and welcoming with a beautiful view. Nice breakfast on the really special terrace where you can relax during the day on daybeds too. Short walk to local restaurants and a shopping centre with a food court.

Excellent location for a few days relaxing before crossing to Laos. Right on the promenade so great for a morning run. Lovely view of the Mekong, 7-11 nearby. Nice pool, good food in the restaurant, very friendly staff arranged our "slow boat" tickets, we enjoyed our stay and extended it.

Felt like a bit of luxury before taking the slow boat to Laos. Great facilities, comfy bed. Friendly helpful staff. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but these looked nice. Enjoyed the bath tub on the balcony and the view of the Mekong. Lovely varied and plentiful breakfast.

Hotel owners went out of their way to help us. They upgraded us to a ground floor room due to mobility issues. They also arranged when we arrived a booking on the bus to Chiang Mai for the next day as well as tuk-tuk to bus. Room was large and clean with lovely river view. A free simple breakfast was also given. Owners also spoke really good English and suggested somewhere to eat very close by, which was excellent food.
