The staff was extremely understanding. It seemed that the ferry was not leaving at the specified time, so they extended our reservation. When it turned out that it still works, we were able to leave without compensation.

The waiting staff made breakfasts a joy. Room cleaners were friendly and helpful, the whole hotel was full of happy professionals.
Breakfast itself was excellent. The private beach and services incredible, nice room with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space.
Wonderful location with endless hiking possibilities nearby to complement the obligatory beach days.
I can't recommend Hotel Desirée enough.

Location was beautiful on the beach, our room was upgraded to the gorgeous palazzo, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The food in the two restaurants was top class. J loved having aperitif’s on the balcony of the Palazzo
The property itself is very large and very green making it cozy and pleasant to the eye. It was also quiet and we couldn’t hear the neighbors although the apartments were next to each other.
When we arrived we were given a free apartment upgrade which was an incredibly pleasant surprise and it made our stay with our 3 yo son even more comfortable.
Although quite some distance from the main town, the location right on the beach is lovely. Very pleasant staff, especially worth a mention is the man who showed where to park and helped with luggage etc. The hotel's grounds are beautifully maintained and a delight to stroll around and find a relaxing spot, especially at sunset.
The view from the property is amazing and the owner Massimo welcomed us very warmly! Massimo also made sure we enjoyed our stay in his property and provided us with great suggestions whilst on Elba Island, to which we are very thankful. We got to enjoy the Jacuzzi too, which was lovely.
We absolutely loved our stay at Tenuta Santa Caterina. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, the room was lovely and the views are amazing. So lovely to have sweet and savoury breakfast buffet too. We were greeted with a bottle of wine in our room as we celebrated our honeymoon. Would 100% recommend
perfect location, relaxing stay. nice views. lovely evening dinners and service with views on the terrasse. basic breakfast, but we got omelettes when requested. Beach is faboulous and near, so is the walk to port and forte falcone.
Set in lovely farm country but only short walk to a lovely beach.The restaurant fixed price meal was great value and relaxing by the pool great .Dario was a great host and helped us by giving us a lift to the port in the morning.We will come again for a longer time
