Good location. Quiet but close to town, restaurants, buses and railway station. Comfortable room and beds. Good shower room. Lovely garden to relax in after sightseeing. The owner Julia was very welcoming and attentive and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy with our accommodation.
The studio was very clean, comfortable, very well equipped, tastefully decorated, in a tranquil location. The owners left a very generous welcome pack of milk, butter, eggs, bread ,biscuits and a lovely bottle of wine which was very much appreciated after a long journey. Ideal base for visiting the surrounding areas. This was our 2nd stay & already booked our 3rd. The owners & their dog sonny are lovely
The location was great in the centre of Totnes, the space was very relaxing although we were in a town it felt like a city break. we will come back, the cafe staff were lovely.
Arrival was very welcoming from staff.
Bar and restaurant area clean, dated but a lovely cosy area to relax and unwind.
Breakfast menu was fantastic as was the food.
Restaurant busy in the evenings so must prebook table. Ate in the restaurant for 3 evenings didn’t feel rushed.
Lovely views from restaurant.
Rooms clean and tidy and exceeded expectations for the price which included breakfast.

I was so pleased that our accommodation was upgraded to a deluxe room which made the experience even more wonderful and the bed was so relaxing so what I needed complete heaven
This is a fantastic place.
The setting is wonderful, looking out over the river. We were lucky enough to be there when there was a high spring tide and it was impressive!! The view from our room was beautiful.
The staff were really lovely; helpful and relaxed but attend our needs. We ate in the restaurant the first night and enjoyed a very good meal. The town of Totnes was wonderful; full of very unusual shops, good cafes and excellent restaurants.
We visited Greenway house( former family home of Agatha Christie) it is a real must do!
The Waterman's Arms is a charming, traditional country pub in a heavenly location. It is family run, friendly and relaxed. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with all we needed for our stay. The gardens are kept beautifully and there is a lovely atmosphere throughout. The food was average pub grub - the complimentary breakfast was plentiful. On the whole, the staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be returning.
