Needs refurbishment sadly lacking in details . The tv was tiny & couldn’t get a signal and had to move tv aerial around ! . Probably more a two star accomodation. Creaky floorboards meant we could hear people moving around upstairs above us . The beds were comfortable the bathroom adequate

We chose this hotel because it was close to Sterling and was more affordable than a hotel in Sterling proper. We liked the room, though we are not disabled, we were given one. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. We liked that a restaurant was attached to the hotel, very important because there are almost no dining options available close to the hotel. We also liked the free parking adjacent to the hotel, a rarity in Scotland where parking is very limited and almost at a cost. Breakfast was very nice and copious.
Spoil your other half with a romantic getaway in a hotel that’s designed with lovers in mind. Whether it’s somewhere stylish in the city or a remote countryside retreat, romantic hotels offer couples all the space they need, with luxury touches like champagne room service and private hot tubs.
A perfect stay in every way! Location, facilities etc were everything you could hope for and the house was a home away from home. The exceptionally lovely Eileen was the icing on the cake. 🥰Wish we could have stayed longer.
Lovely house next to King Robert Hotel, with 3 big bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, living room and fully equipped kitchen. The house is exactly as depicted in the photos, really clean and comfortable. Very nice and relaxing garden as well, we could see a few rabbits! so peaceful :) There is free parking, and the hotel works as reception and restaurant, which was very useful
This was our penultimate hotel for our holiday, and last one in Scotland. It was a lovely end to our hectic tour of Scotland. The staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent and very good value. The bedroom was spacious as was the en-suite and the bed comfortable enabling a sound nights sleep. We felt vey relaxed here after many miles of driving. Having car parking on site was a bonus.
The staff were lovely, especially one of the ladies on reception who allowed me to check in half an hour early, and also helped me with some ribbons on my dress. The room we had had an amazing view and it was perfect for a romantic night away.
The house was beautiful and our room was lovely, comfortable and well equipped - even had a fridge! The en suite had a bath and separate shower - luxury.
The hotel itself is a fantastic place it has a lot of history.
The property has a grand feel and look, the room was large and had everything you could need,
The hotel is also dog friendly so anyone can take their fur babies along with them.
The hotel has a lovely spa where you can relax by the swimming pool go for a jacuzzi or go for a lovely steam in either the steam room or the sauna, wonderful.
I would definitely stay here again.
