Dating back to 1693, the family-run Littlebank Country House is in a rural location on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. With free Wi-Fi throughout and free onsite parking, it also offers a games room with billiards and a dart board.

We had the warmest of welcomes on arrival by Richard, the host. Littlebank is a beautiful old house surrounded by wonderful scenery. Richard cooked us a good breakfast, plenty of choice. We only wish we had been there for more than one night.

Everything was perfect. I can't fault it. Great spacious living area. Lovely bedroom. Shower was great too. All this really close to everything you need in the town. Bottle of wine and cookies greeted us, generous extra from host John who was attentive throughout our stay. I fell in love with the area and intend to come back for a proper walking break.

We've just spent the perfect weekend at Littlebank Country House. The beautiful, peaceful location makes for a relaxing stay, and Trish and Richard couldn't be more welcoming - a lovely couple. Our room was absolutely charming, clean and comfortable with a very large en-suite bathroom. The delicious cooked breakfast made a great start to the day, followed by a stroll down the garden to see the piglets! We couldn't haven picked a better place to celebrate our wedding anniversary - thanks Trish and Richard :-)
