Great location just outside Petworth. The property overlooks fields at the back with great views. Very atmospheric inside the pub with low ceilings. All staff very friendly. Evening meal was good although my wifes fish dish was a bit mean! Breakfast was very good. Our bedroom overlooked the fields at the back and had a small terrace with table and chairs. Room good size and bed very comfy.

We arrived to find Bridge cottage a hidden gem at the end of private tack. Miranda made us feel very at home and is a wonderful host. The choice of breakfast and quality is excellent. We opted for the full English which set us up nicely for the day. Each evening, we eat in one of the two excellent local pubs, both in an easy walking distance.

The venue is well located, close to the main railway station. The room was comfortable, well appointed, nice selection of tea/coffee, even hot chocolate and biscuits. I thought the room would be noisy close to the main road, however it was remarkably quiet. The breakfast was great value for money and very well cooked with good produce used. We had dinner on the first evening and the food and drink was really good with some great choice options.

Felt welcome from the moment we walked in. Very accommodating and relaxed about breakfast time and checking out. Beautiful country pub with lovely courtyard garden to sit and have breakfast.
It’s a lovely place quiet and relaxing the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful, room was clean and roomy with everything in you need tea & coffee making facilities, mini fridge with drinks in, shower was nice , bed was very comfortable , bar was lovely with a nice outside area, the restaurant and food was excellent, breakfast was lovely, would stay again

Great property in a great location, lovely staff - Will made us feel at home, came out and introduced himself, asked if he could carry our bags, took us to our room in the cottages at the rear, and couldn’t be more helpful. Fantastic breakfast. Bed very comfortable, great views, nice area at night time to sit and relax in the garden. We will definitely come back
What a fantastic place! Went there for our wedding anniversary and the staff made it so special. Gorgeous garden felt like we were abroad, room, food and special touches made it perfect. Feel very relaxed on our return. Highly recommended!
Everything really 😊!! Ruth & Steve were such lovely hosts and despite arriving very late, we were greeted with a very warm welcome and introduced to our lovely weekend nest! A lovely location surrounded by beautiful countryside whichever direction you choose to discover, each village nearby has wonderful pubs, stunning walks and exactly what we needed - a pleasurable, relaxing stay & an area of natural beauty which makes me proud of living in England ❤️
Beautiful location very calming - nice to have a private outdoor area and the hot tub was a fun and relaxing activity. we are in the restaurant and the food was amazing - would defo recommend and breakfast in the morning was also lovely with a good choice.
