We arrived to find Bridge cottage a hidden gem at the end of private tack. Miranda made us feel very at home and is a wonderful host. The choice of breakfast and quality is excellent. We opted for the full English which set us up nicely for the day. Each evening, we eat in one of the two excellent local pubs, both in an easy walking distance.

Beautiful, unique hotel in lovely surroundings. Serious attention to detail on the refurbishment of the Pullman train carriages. Dinner was also delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. I loved the atmosphere in the dining room. Breakfast was also very hearty. Definitely recommend to those looking for an unusual hotel experience.

The Cowdray suite was spacious for 4 girlfriends overnight. We were only there to sleep as went out for dinner and had been walking in the day. Great area, Cowdray always great to visit. Lovely views, walks, farm shop. Golf course right there.
It’s historic character and modern comfort.
It has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and is beautifully decorated and furnished without being “smart” and “boutique”.
Lovely spa area although the sauna was disappointingly not up to temperature.
Thoughtful touches in the room such as a teapot and a bottle of water, and a complimentary paper
The staff are delightful and attentive but not obtrusive.
It's a pretty building. The staff were friendly. The spa was nice, a bit hot but I personally liked it, although it could do with a few more loungers. We were given a room upgrade as we were celebrating our anniversary, which was sweet and appreciated. The local sparkling wine was lovely. The lounging spaces were cozy.
Breakfast was delicious, with a choice of eggs, yoghurt, granola and fruit and croissant.
Relaxed approach to going in and out and plenty of local knowledge regarding places to visit.
Lovely dog walks and a friendly attitude to our dog.
Very good welcome in reception on arrival. Really appreciated the upgrade for birthday. Lovely comfortable relaxing hotel, well located in Midhurst.
All staff very polite and helpful.
Wonderful historic building. Beautiful period features. Roaring log fire. Lovely spa with Stan room, sauna, jacuzzi, 14m pool and relaxing poolside chairs. Outside sun trap which was warm enough to sit out even in late October.
The food was very good quality at dinner and breakfast.
The location and room were lovely, we got the room with the bath in the bedroom and it was romantic and relaxing, but waiting for an hour in the cold and missing breakfast screwed it up.
