This is a very special hotel in a 18th/19th century style and furniture with modern comforts. We slept in a bed with 1676 carved into it. I particularly liked the antique bathroom fittings, the standalone bath with a copper shower surround. The sitting room with an honesty bar and the library were great to relax in. David

Superb staff. Great location. Wonderful room, and the bathroom was perfect. Many nice little touches and amenities throughout thehotel. Dinner and high tea in the "conservatory" overlooking the garden was especially nice. This is will be my go-to hotel on future trips to London.
