    An absolutely stunning old historical building with great views from the roof. This is a proper hotel, rather than a hostel (their hostel-hostel is in the basement), so no real kitchen access, but the staff is lovely and the accomodations are super clean and comfy. I was in the 6-bed dorm (this is the only dorm which is in the upstairs hotel portion rather than in the hostel area), and it was great.

    Lovely staff, left our bags while we did the Quilotoa Loop. Good location for walking into town, about 20 min walk or $2.50 taxi to the bus station.

    Lovely quiet location in the centre of town. The family that run the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are really nice. The hotel was quiet and warm. Hot powerful showers. Lovely relaxed feel about the place. Tip - If you are planning to walk the Quilotoa Loop, you can store your excess baggage securely free of charge + the best hostel in Chugchilan (Cloud Forest Hostel) on route is owned by the same family, so might be worth asking about booking here. We stayed the night before and after the Quilotoa Loop.

    the first room was not fully clean but the very kind staff upgraded our room. our second room was lovely and we had a great time, despite the road works outside (no fault of the hotel). the staff were friendly and helpful every time we spoke.
