Our stay at Hotel zur Lorelely was very enjoyable. The owner was friendly, accomodating and helpful, the family room on the top floor we stayed in was bright, clean, and comfortable, and the included breakfast was good and had everything we wanted. The little personal touches (candy on the bed, our name on the breakfast table) were appreciated and made us feel welcome.

The hotel is really beautiful and it was a wonderful experience. Thanks a lot to Gil Velich, who runs this exceptional experience. 1. The morning breakfast is tremendous. The table is beautifully decked with a wide range of options from vegetarian to meats. The spread is wonderfully decorated. Tea & Coffee are served on the table along with bread baskets and some exquisite bread spreads. It just starts your day in a great way 2. The owner and manager Gil's is very hospitable, We came with Children and had to take and extra room, which eventually turned out to be a very nice experience. He is so helpful, friendly and kind. He told us about few things to do and took extra care of our needs. 3. The location. It is located on the banks of river Rhein, and looking on two castles on the opposite side. The ferry as well as river cruise are 30 meters away from the location. Which is really incredible. There is also a train station nearby, which is 100M walk and very convenient 4. Things you can do. There are so many nice things to do for a short trip here. You can visit the Rheinfals castle, the walking street, on the opposite side if you go by ferry - you can visit the rodelbahn, and also take the river cruise. 5. Scenic and Calm - You will not get such a beautiful and unique view and setting. You'll walk away with some very memorable images and walk to come back 6. The rooms are modern and cozy. While the bathroom is small, its just enough and serves the needs well. The bed and bath was well kept and very clean. The room had some very nice quaint looking fittings

The location was good, we were here for one night and used this hotel as our resting place inbetween travel days. Alot of culture and beatiful nature. Restaurants in the area are what you can expect from a small, sortha cut-off, part in any place in the world but exceeded expectations. We did have breakfast included, it was decent but nothing to fantasize about. All in all a good experience, the hosts were very nice people.

Location excellent views of Rhine.It was worth travelling the extra miles from Koblenz to have this special time in such beautiful old Castle which had all the old features and furnishings..

It’s a very lovely place with a history. They paid a lot of attention to details decorating the guesthouse. Owners are very friendly and nice. The breakfast is just amazing, home made cakes, quiche etc., one of the best breakfast I’ve had in hotels. We stayed only one night and absolutely loved it. If we are in this area again, we will stay there for sure.
