This is a lovely, comfortable hotel in the perfect area for hiking in the national park each day - just a 10 or 15min walk and you're wandering through the jungle! The rooms are very comfortable and have a pleasant view over the valley. Breakfast was delicious. And at first the staff seemed unhappy that my Portuguese wasn't great... but then they brought out a brilliant guy who was very happy to explain everything in English.
Overall, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Teresopolis.
The owner was cheerful and helpful. The site is pleasant, relaxing in a very natural setting. Only complaint is the distance from the main paved highway and the 15 km of poor road to get to the property. A little too remote even for me who enjoys nature and some isolation.
