Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The Staff were super-friendly. Very helpful. Flyness at the reception is amazing.!! The breakfast was also very good, delicious staff, enough varieties. I liked the hot chocolate, the barista lady is super experienced. The hotel itself is beautiful, well decorated. Very clean. I will definitely visit again while in Zambia.

United KingdomI needed to use the business facility and whilst the lady was very helpful when I tried to stay and do some work the general noise of others was loud and the room wasn't suitably planned for laptop privacy and due to the noise I couldnt make calls so I promptly left. Checking in was fine however I had to extend my stay and that became a challenge ans the lady who served me to recheck in didnt seem very helpful and was quite off in attitude which was disappointing..
The location for my business was helpful and everything near by for my meetings.The room was adequate and for the needs. The staff in the restaurant in particular NChimunya and the 2 staff called Memory were very helpful cheerful and chatty clearly care about what they do and demonstrated good service and relationship skills.. Even the wider staff were helpful with a smile. The food was of a good standard and value for money. Having an ATM on site was very useful as well. The hotel from the airport was nit too far. The crocodiles tiny ones were a source of interest.

ZambiaHonestly, the food was very uneven, and occasionally not edible. Not sure why this has happened but I hope Southern Sun will look into this. I remember the breakfast as being quite delicious and now it is so so. Some of the items from the menu were just plain bad. The kitchen needs some serious attention. Also, the service is very uneven, just depends on the personality of the server.
I've stayed here many times, and it looks like the rooms have been upgraded a bit - very comfortable. The eating space around the pool with the baby crocs is as fun as ever, although the plants for the weaver birds were cut. Hope they grow back and that the birds return!

We liked the room, the room facilities, the swimming pool, the gardens,the outside eating and breakfast area, the breakfast choice and quality was excellent, the green area close to the sitting and eating area was great with its weaver birds, the bar food was great. The staff in the kitchen led by Manina, the executive chef were brilliant. They engaged their customers and provided great customer service. Moses who headed up the breakfast egg cooking station is very skilled and makes the best eggs! The waiters all excel Wednesday were invited as guests to their Wednesday night ‘meet the hotel guests’ and it was a great opportunity to meet hotel key people and other guests

South AfricaThe first evening our waitress was really not up to scratch. She either had no training or no interest, I'm not sure but it was a let down. The gym could be refreshed and the pool does not quite measure up to the glossy images on Booking.com.
The rooms were good, clean and very tastefully finished. The gardens and verandah were a beautiful and relaxing retreat after a hard day of business travel. A good hotel that I was very satisfied with.
