Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

South AfricaEach room did not have a bathroom. It's uncomfortable sharing a bathroom with others when on a relaxing break. The 1 bathroom that was far from the room was shared by more than +/- 6 individuals, making it uncomfortable as we are guests/ strangers to one another. The TV in the living area was not available for guests as it was said to be not working... something to look into, as we had our breakfast set in the living room on the small 2 seater table. Other than that, I really had a relaxed stay:)
The staff was accommodating, Aunt Simi and the Manager(Apologies, I can not remember her name). The breakfast was nice...personally, I loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. It most definitely lived up to my expectations and wishes I had to relax before coming to the White House. Thank you very much... God Bless

South AfricaNothing! I really enjoyed my stay here. This is not a negative, rather a suggestion to the venue to provide camping lights (not candles) if the area is experiencing loadshedding.
The venue was extremely clean and is in close driving distance to the Westville Mall should you need to buy anything or want to go out for dinner. The staff were very helpful and professional. Would definitely stay here again - Good value for money.
