Incline between lounge and bedroom. Both of us stumbled more than once. A line painted on the floor would help to solve the problem. Duvet a bit too heavy.

I loved the space and the beautifully decorated interior. It was a secure place for both me and my vehicle. Eunice and Sam were very attentive hosts and gave excellent assistance. A room with both sea and mountain views is just the very best. I loved the welcoming pack of a chenin blanc wine and basket of nibblies. Thank you!

We could hear the people in the unit above us a bit more than we liked. The fridge was a bit small and needed defrosting. A 3rd or 4th dining chair would have been appreciated.

The perfect location for us - easy for walks on the mountain and a short walk or dive to our favourite beach. It has a lovely sense of space with the view of the garden and pool. Sam and Unisy looked after us so well.

- Could do with a bigger pan/pot (only a pasta/deep pot and a small egg pan) - Bed was very soft on one side, slightly sunken (some people may prefer a softer bed though)

- Pictures are accurate, cosy, lovely apartment - Friendly hosts, Sam came to meet us and Unisi checked in and shared some recommendations - Beautiful garden view with the ocean on the horizon and amazing view of the mountain as well - Pool was sparking clean, lovely pool chairs and umbrella (weather permitting we’d have loved to enjoy it!) - approx 12 min drive from main town but 3 min from the beach (again, had we had better weather this would have been ideal!) - Sweet touches; enough coffee pods for duration of stay, bedside chocolates, biscuits for tea, umbrella for the rain, gas heater for the cold - Shower feels a bit small, but awesome rain-shower head - Easy, safe, secure parking and access to the property

Nothing, always a pleasure!

Sam met us to handover the keys. We've stayed before and Sam is always available and so helpful. Location is perfect for a short walk down to Grotto Beach and a drink or meal at Dutchies or the Hopside Down Taproom which we highly recommend, amazing Menu & Great service. Secure self parking. The Pool is stunning and loungers and Towels are provided. Back-up power means you don't even notice the loadshedding schedules. Short drive into town. Cannot wait for a return visit! This a exceptional good hotel. Staff couldnt be more helpfull. Super friendly and always smiling. We could check in 1 hour earlier and park our car already. Room was perfect and clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was unbelievable, great variaty to choose from. After check out we Could stay at the rooftop pool and have lunch with drinks.

Our only bit of negative feedback was that the sound proofing between the two flats is not very good. We could hear a lot of what our neighbours were up to and we were grateful that they weren't on their honeymoon (!). But if you get friendly co-holiday makers (as we did) then you'll have a great stay here.

This place was a real find and we would stay here again. The location is great if you're looking for a quiet get away. The area feels safe. You have less options for walking-distance restaurants than if you stayed closer to Hermanus, but we LOVED Dutchies beach bar and went there twice during our short stay. The room was spotlessly clean and whilst there isn't a full kitchen you could just about make a cooked breakfast with the facilities that are there if you wanted to.

We liked everything. The pool, even though it was too cold to use - looking at it was already tranquil. The bed is suuuper comfy. Secured. No load shedding issues they have their own power supplies. Got private parking. We walked the streets in the night as well felt safe even then. The whole place is super cute, quiet, cozy and we just wish we would have stayed longer honestly. We could imagine ourselves coming more often! The host Unisi is super friendly, responsive and gave us some valuable info without which our experience would be poorer. So thanks for that, for a lovely 2 days well spent. All the best!

We used the property as a base for our busy schedule. The place was private, comfortable, spacious enough for our needs and did not lack in any amenities. As a self-catering unit it served us very well - kitchenette, dining table and lounge in one space, looking onto a pleasing garden and swimming pool. The bed was comfortable with convenient plug points for cell chargers etc. and the bathroom was clean and spacious with a decent-sized shower. Coffee pods, a box of biscuits and kit-kat bars at the bedside made for a nice finishing touch. Set against a spectacular mountain behind us. Bonus was the accessibility of Grotto Beach and Cliff Path within walking distance.

Fantastic hosts and went above and beyond, despite us arriving late and allowing us to check out late. The little things, biscuits, coffee machine & coffee pods and the Le Crueset mugs were a welcome surprise. Amazing, spacious, and very comfortable accommodation and highly recommend to anyone coming to Hermanus.

It is a peaceful and delightful place! There is a view of the ocean, and Sam is wonderfully helpful. There are so many lovely little touches, like four big bath towels, chocolates on the side tables, beach towels, an umbrella, coffee, and tea with rusks. It is a gem of a place!

There is only one thing. When you enter the room, there is a small step. It will be wise just to put on a sign because it can be dangerous for older people. Except for that, everything was excellent.

That there was never load-shedding. It was clean and thank you for all the rusks and chips. Sam was very helpful. I read one of the books that was amazing.
