The room we stayed in ( on top of restaurant )in the old part of the building has all the amenities you would expect and more than adequate for a one to two night stay For longer stays pay a little bit more and go for the cabins @ the back at the property. They have a sitting area and a stoep ( and a kaggel )

Hosts and staff excellent and really goes out if their way to make you feel at home The inn is on the main road , you can park your car and walk to all shops in Greyton . Food @ inn's own restaurant very good ,but if you want variety/ change of location there is a lot of restaurants within walking distans

There’s no hairdryer. The mattress is old and we fell into the middle of the bed. The floor by the shower is very slippery where one can really hurt themselves. There is a strong mildew smell coming from the bathroom.

It is central and in walking distance to all restaurants and has a well equipped kitchen. The ladies came to make our bed and restock the tea and coffee the next morning.

Unfortunately, the inn's restaurant/brewhouse was undegoing renovations during our three-day stay in January, but no problem: there is such a cluster of restaurants and pubs nearby that you'll have a surfeit of options from which to choose.

You can't beat the location, and hosts Tommy and Amy Redelinghuys couldn't be nicer. The Inn's property is narrow but deep, and the accomodations extend linearly behind the main hotel/retaurant edifice fronting Main Street in Greyton. Secure parking is opposite the units, with a gate to prevent horses which wander freely in the village from entering. Our forward unit had a loft from whose upstairs bedroom we had a nice view of the pool and gardens. Despite being on the main drag, there was no noticeable street noise during our stay, and we had our choice of cafes and restaurants right outside in either direction. We enjoyed lunch in the gardens at Fiore a couple doors down from the inn, but also liked Oak & Vigne Cafe nearby. Amy recommended we spend some time wandering among the 18th C. architecture of historic Genadendal, just 5 minutes away - a 'must see'. Glad we took her advice.

Loved the staff and ambiance, comfortable bed and lovely to see the town passing by from my window.

Initially we found it to be a bit dark with minimal natural light downstairs ( we stayed in number 5), however, it stayed very in the hot afternoon.
