Fantastic stay. Amazing breakfast. Note you are sharing your own house with one other room but you can't hear the other room and the house is huge so its not an issue. You get your own on-suite bathroom. Very friendly host! We organized a private dinner which was great. Lots of towels and products in the bathrooms. Clean linen and lots of amenities! Honesty bar system is well stocked

The house itself is beautifully done, the interior design is amazing with great attention to detail. Hein kindly made a dinner reservation for us (without having to ask) at a great restaurant nearby. Breakfast was exceptional, everything was made fresh and it was more than enough. We will definately be back sometime!

this place is gorgeous! The house is absolutely charming, the interior is beautiful with love to details, so much to discover and the garden is amazing. we felt absolutely welcome, Bryden gave us lots of good tips, made restaurant bookings for us and was such a nice host. Hans - the chef - made lekker breakfast and surprised us every morning with something else. also the christmas dinner was so lovely and delicious. we stayed 4 nights and loved that we met new people around the globe every morning ok the breakfast table. This place is truly special and we will be back for sure !

There is nothing not to like!

One word… stunning! The most beautifully and tastefully decorated property! Everything is exquisite and well thought out. Nothing is forgotten. A reservation was made for us at a local restaurant before we arrived which was a delicious meal. Breakfast in the morning was equally delicious at Jonkmanshof 30 up the road. Montagu is a lovely town and the drive to and from it stunning. (Route 62). Would stay at this property again without a shadow of a doubt!

Absolutely nothing. This place is perfect.

The property is one of the most beautiful I have ever had the pleasure to visit. Calm settings and gorgeous interior design makes it feel like a home away from home. With only two rooms and vast communal spaces the house feels luxurious without being pretentious. The outdoor spaces, garden and farm pool are a delight and you can spend hours relaxing gazing at the dramatic mountains changing colour throughout the day. Brydon is a lovely host and cooks a killer breakfast full of tasty treats and of the highest quality. We would have gladly stayed longer if we could!

Well okay nothing really, it’s in the middle of town so you can hear some noise. But really minor detail. Also it’s convenient because some good restaurants just arround the corner.

Wow, that’s the only way to describe it. Such a nice spot and friendly host. The way it’s decorated is just amazing, just go see it. Really a home coming feeling and inspiration for all details and years of gathering all decorations, paintings and art.
