Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South AfricaThe location was a little difficult to find when I got there. However that could be due to the extreme rain at the time and I was under a time pressure to get to the wedding, so maybe if that were not the case it would have been easier. Otherwise no other complaints, it was a very short but enjoyable stay.
I couldn't stay in the area for long since I was only there to attend a wedding over one night. The comfort levels in the room were great and the cleanliness was much appreciated. I also really appreciated the mini kitchen set up to get me going the next morning.

South AfricaThe unit was a wee bit cramped. If most of the items on the coffee table were removed, it would be a big improvement.
Excellent location. We were able to walk to all the interesting places and restaurants in town. We enjoyed the spacious stoep overlooking the garden. Interesting old house with high ceiling and solid wooden floor, but a nice modern bathroom. We appreciated the fact that the Eskom power outages were almost negated by the use of a generator. It had everything we needed for basic self-catering and was well supplied with different teas and coffees.

South AfricaThe location from point of view of noise level from the street regarding passing cars & local people speaking is loudish, till very late on Friday & the Saturday evening. In the morning the activity & busyness of setting up the market nearby, also was from quite early. The unit has thick old fashioned windows & thick curtains so sound is not as loud as would normally be. Which makes it better.
The hostess Adrienne who was involved with booking side & the contact person Chantal were very friendly. They went out of the way to assist me, as I asked for earlier check in, but my arrival was delayed by my sick granddaughter. I updated Chantal & she waited for me, but in the end the owner, Peter Manse, was there to open up the gate & meet up with me, to hand over the keys & show me where to park securely in the grounds. The unit was comfortable, very clean with everything you needed to make your stay a good one. The garden surrounding the Manor House, where unit is located, is pretty & you have a private type small veranda with a small table & 2 chairs by the entrance of your unit to enjoy the outside area. No Breakfast included in the price so cannot comment on that. I really enjoyed my stay there. I was in Franschhoek, for my nephew's wedding & the church, where ceremony was held, was right next to the accomodation. The location was very good to be able to walk everywhere- to the markets, to all the nearby shops, coffee shops & plus be able to walk to discover the town. Overall a very good experience. I will definitelly recommend the accommodation.

Regrettably, due to the massive rainstorm in the Western Cape, Franschhoek was totally flooded and inaccessible. The establishment was very proactive in informing us of the situation and advised us not to travel in that direction. We were also not charged for the accommodation. An establishment to recommend.
