The untouched natural location. The sumptuous breakfast which varied every morning, the friendly staff and Nick who always tried to accomodate requests. Will definitely recommend to others.

Everything was great! The rooms are great, our view was amazing and breakfasts was delicious. The location is perfect as you are halfway between Knysna and Plettenbergbay. It is a beautiful property with very friendly staff.

Loadshedding was such a bummer. Wifi goes down - only small rechargeable light available. Other than that - the location is beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was an absolute winner.

What a Great Reception we received. Rooms were super tide , clean and so Comfortable. Breakfast was a treat and so much on offer. we would definitely return to this Home away from Home. The surroundings are so beautiful.

The firewood hot tub outside on the deck was fabulous. Surrounded by forest and big trees. Really lovely and peaceful. Beds very comfy and decent size fridge.

My mom and I needed a little time out, far from the Madding crowd… ECM delivered peace, quiet and tranquility, together with fresh air, the sounds of birds and whispering trees. We loved the expanse of the gardens and the feeling of being out in the country, yet in reality, just a short drive from Plett and Knysna made this place the perfect location for our sabbatical. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and had every we needed allowing us to just chill. It must be said though, by far, our favourite part of our stay, were the incredible breakfasts, prepared and served by our gracious host, Nick, he’ll deny it of course, but he has a way with food… honestly, the best 4 breakfasts I can remember eating. The staff were gracious and helpful, and the overall feel of the place, was home away from home, without any of the cares of home... I plan to return as often as I can.

Breakfast was exceptional. The room itself was perfect, as were the grounds (garden and walk through the woodlands). We very much enjoyed meeting the proprietor and his hospitality. We would very highly recommend this accommodation.

Lost lights and wifi during loadshedding, but as we took a walk on the property we discovered that the main house had electricity. It would have been nice to know this so we could could used our devices during load shedding

the presentation of the rooms on the booking.com website…it should be more clear, what different room options there are. For me it looked as if even the cheaper rooms were in those little stone cottages as well. But it is not the fault of the guesthouse but of booking com. Our stay in the wooden house was good but my expectations where others. But the overall stay was very nice due to the staff and the rest of the property. We will come back, but I will then book a room in the garden cottages.
