Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South AfricaI’m a bit finicky about hotel towels I even bring my own when travelling and I noticed that the hand towel had a little smell to it , and there was no air freshener in our bathroom.
I loved the cleanliness of the property , the friendly stuff , the comfy bed! It just feels like home away from home ! We even booked an extra night ! We were in town for a personal emergency with our father who was ill, and were taken care off soo beautifully! The breakfast was yummy with so many options ! Our hosts are great people and their stuff is impeccable! Truly appreciate them .

Our breakfast was prepacked earlier for 6:00am as arranged, despite the Eskom load shedding struggles. The facility is conducive very friendly as always to make you feel at home. I will return anytime should there be a need and will recommend to anyone in my circle.
