Parking outside is great but against a steep slope,not easy with luggage.

A lovely view over the ocean from the balcany invited you to sit and relax.The room and bathroom was clean, bedding and towels good quality and clean,and a very comfy bed,and lovely breakfast,all contibute to the fact that it is one of our favourite places, it is our 2nd visit.Staff is very friendly.I can recommend ot,owner is also very friendly.

I can't complain about anything, however it would be nice to have a bigger dustbin in the room.

I had the most relaxing and peaceful stay at Berg en Zee guesthouse. My reson for travel was to get away from the busy town life, wake up to a clear view of the ocean, as well as explore a town that I don't know well. Berg en Zee is very close to a few nice restaurants as well as shops, however far enough to not hear what people are getting up to till late at night. They also have a very nice breakfast menu that caters to all dietary likings (fruit, meat, yogurts, starch, etc.) I walked through town a bit, checked out a few guesthouses from the outside, and am confident to say that I chose the best spot for what I was looking for. I will definitely be back, thank you for the great experience.

There was confusion over our room, I had booked a family room and we were given a double. However a refund was made to say sorry so we are happy with that as after all mistakes happen

Stay was on international standard; no complaints.

Breakfast was great; fresh fruit salad made from the "fruit-of-the-Cape" was really world class. Room super with fantastic view. Appropriate setup for load-shedding in place. Location great; visited Thirsty Oyster for dinner, just 200m away. Swim in the bay was great.

Not the fault of the establishment, but other guests slamming all doors until midnight was terrible. The security door and bedroom doors slamming/being slammed shut was very disturbing at sleep time.

The welcome, the view from Room 1, the gorgeous comfy, old-world styling of the room, the breakfast room and breakfast selection, and the staff, were all outstanding.

Not much, there really are no comments to be made. Perhaps consider some maintenance on the property, but I am sure some of this is attributable to the long closure periods during the Covid lockdown.

Breakfast was amazing, the best fruit salad and egg omelets in town! The location is superb, within walking distance to the beach and the views over False Bay are spectacular. Staff are super friendly and supportive and the rooms are well furnished with quality finishes.
