The 30km dirt road to the property is in a shocking state. If you are driving a car that you care about it will take you 1.5hrs to drive at a pace that won’t damage the suspension. I wish I was warned about this properly but I was merely told that it’s about 30mins drive on a dirt road. Our car would be broken if we drove that fast on the road.

Everything. Everything from the checkin, food, room facilities, service of entire staff, cocktails, even game drives we tops. I love how the staff and management are so comfortable with each other, it screams healthy working environment and from that, great service is always guaranted. Our guide Sam T was the best, very patient and lively. In our entire stay we were serbed by 2 very good waiter/esses, Flo & Busang - too good. Their service really stood out for me. We stayed in the presidential suite and everything about it ticks 5 stars. Very spacious and lacks nothing

Incredible experience from arrival. The staff is friendly and helpful, and will go out of their way to ensure you have the best time. Thoroughly enjoyed our game drives with our game ranger April - very insightful, he is extremely knowledgeable.

This is a great hotel in a fabulous location. The staff are wonderful. The Game Park is fantastic. The transfer from Johannesburg is quite long and a little expensive, but it's worth the effort

Food is too fancy, prefer more plain, choices should include African cooking and not just fancy european food. Car washing should not be done without consent, i dont like people cleaning my car when at lodges.

Location is excellent, facilities are great, Game drives are fantastic and guides are knowledgeable, staff are friendly and superb.

The gravel road getting to the property can be a tad hectic. We rented a 4x4 vehicle, which made the drive to the property so much better.

It was beautiful and clean. Very spacious and all the accessories in the room were very thoughtful.

Amazing service, rooms are luxurious and the game drives were incredible thanks to Sam Tshabalala. The pictures on their website are spot on to what you will experience! The food was exceptional, the high teas were one of the best based on our experience from other 5 star private game reserves. This was by far our best experience. From the time we entered the reserve until the time we left, we were treated like royalty. Great sightings on our game drive as well, got to see Elephants, Rhino, Lions and a Family of cheetah.

Babohi is an exceptional property nestled in the hills of Waterberg with stunning facilities and warm staff. We requested an upgrade to one of their Buffalo rooms upon arrival and found the room to be beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and well-situated, as we had a few animals visiting our plunge pool during our stay. The highlight of the trip were the game drives together with our friendly and dedicated ranger, Sam. The staff were also very warm and made sure our stay was special. In particular, thank you to Lucy, Veronica, Tebogo and Busang for your hospitality.

Spa is nice but not set up for pedicures. Lady doing it had to use 2 iPhone torches as the room are so dark and she also had to do on her knees as no proper pedicure station. Not a good experience she obviously felt embarrassed. Not worth the money watching the girl struggle

During our stay in June the game drives felt quite disappointing since the non-standard game was nowhere to be seen. In three game drives we did, we only saw one of the big fives (rhino). In comparison to the Kruger, this was a bummer on the otherwise excellent few days we stayed here.

The location and the room is exceptional. The staff is one big family and they really do their best to make you feel at ease and to make you feel comfortable. The service is great and they are flexible. For example we really liked the included laundry service that was “free” of charge. We also liked the fact they were allowing us to stay a bit longer the day of checkout since we had a late evening flight.
