Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandWhile the breakfast buffet offers a decent selection, it would be even better with more daily variety. Seeing the same options each day can become a bit repetitive, and a few changes to the menu would make the experience more enjoyable.
This was our third stay at this hotel, and it continues to impress. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Chinatown, surrounded by fantastic Vietnamese food options and vibrant local markets. There’s even a 7-Eleven conveniently located just across the street. The concierge team was incredibly friendly and always willing to assist, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. A big plus is the complimentary shuttle service, available in the mornings and late afternoons, which conveniently takes guests to several key attractions in District 1. This service made exploring the city so much easier and added great value to our stay. Highly recommended

United KingdomOur only gripe is that house keeping did not sweep our room on the first night and we had to ask for them to come and do that. On the second night, they did not replace the floor mat in the bathroom. Small details but this is 5 star so should be the minimum standard.
The general service, quality of room and location were great. It was not in a tourist centre which is exactly what we wanted. They were kind enough to let us check out late without imposing a charge, very much appreciated. You can check out our trip videos here on Youtube which features he hotel in more detail.https://www.youtube.com/@PumpuyiPresents

LuxembourgIs located in the district 5 which we didn't know was far from everything in the center, we had to take a taxi to go to anywhere. The rooms are normal, they do not offer anything special for such a high price. We asked for ice in the room 2 times and they didn't bring it and in one ocation even told us to go to the supermarket Infront to bring it ourselves. For me is not a 5 stars hotel.
The customer service was good, mainly the people in the restaurant and at the door downstairs. The rooms are normal.

IndiaThe Reception seemed in a hurry while dealing and talking. The Room though an upgrade had issues with the bathroom. The Hand shower when fitted in the slot and used as a shower was throwing the water on to the opposite wall and it was trickling down on to the floor. The Bath Tub is a little too high for older people, it should have a small stool to get in and out. The Room was very comfortable, the Concierge was excellent and helpful, the Breakfast spread was awesome catering for needs. The area outside the Hotel Location was not very clean where as whole of Vietnam was Fantastic and we had a wonderful time. Please take these comments as they are and not as criticism.

United StatesThe Wifi is kind weak. It needs an upgrade to meet future customers. In addition, my last week of stay was not pleasant due to the people stay around or near my room. Too much noises in the hall way and the chair dragging were terrible.
The staff is extremely helpful. Especially, a room keeper name Thuy Tran is always there to help when I need some help. She is always going above and beyond to meet my expectation. Thank you

AustraliaFood needs to be a bit warmer Coffee is bad! you have to pay to get a latte etc at breakfast! Room is dark not enough lights It does not have that many restaurants with air conditioner near by the hotel! The complimentary shuttle bus to District 1 only operates 4 -5 times a day and finishes at 7pm
The gym open late from 6am-10pm ! The pool is small but is warm and has 3 spas, there are steamed room and sauna in the ladies room! Breakfast was good but food could be hotter to eat rather than warm !!! It is a dated hotel but it is clean, beautiful and spacious !
