Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyAn amazing homestay in the middle of coconut groves. The bungalow was basic but had everything we needed, including air conditioning and hammocks. The homestay garden is a spot of paradise with coconut palms and many fruit trees and flowers; reading in one of the hammocks with a view of this garden was amazing. The homestay has bikes available for use, and there are lovely country lanes to explore around. We had all our dinners in the homestay and loved the home-cooked meals and insights into Vietnamese cuisine they provided. We also booked two boat tours through the homestay and both were amazing. Mr Kha and Ms Tu were great hosts, very attentive and helpful. Staying here was one of the highlights, if not the highlight, of our Vietnam trip.

CanadaQuiet and a nice break from the city. Took a boat tour from the property, this was well organized and complete with plenty of snacks, drinks and dinner. The guide was informative and fun. We ate here each night, stayed 3 nights in the king room. Dinner and breakfast was wonderful. Used the bicycles to tour the surrounding area. Very friendly staff that took care of us.

I travelled Vietnam for 3 weeks from South to North, and I can say without a doubt that this has been the best experience we had in Vietnam. We stayed 3 nights from the 28th of February till 1st of March Mr Kha and his sister Miss Tu are wonderful hosts, so welcoming and friendly and really doing their best to make your stay the best it can be. I will never forget when we arrived and we got fresh coconut just taken from a tree, or after ciclying being offered coconut water to refresh ourselves . Or when we got offered jackfruit after dinner, which Mr Kha got from his tree. Mr Kha and Misses Tu also are so helpful to help you to get to their place and get you to your next destination. They will call the taxi driver for you, book your bus tickets, just amazing. The room is huge and spotless and we loved the firm mattress, we slept so well. The food is oh my god, unbelievable. Mister Kha wife is an amazing chef. This was the best food we had in Vietnam. The food was soooooo much, enough to feed 3/4 people and every dish was excellent. Worth every money. My favorite, coconut prawn. The surroundings are so beautiful. It is so peaceful and we enjoyed ciclying around, under the coconut trees. The most amazing thing is that you get to experience real Vietnam, not many tourists around, and see people working and living their life, everything felt so authentic. We also did a tour package, visiting the Mekong river and the coconut candy factory. It was amazing and our guide, Tuyen was fantastic. She made the tour really a wonderful experience. I read some people didn't like the Karaoke, but we did enjoy, because again this is part of the Vietnamese culture and we were so happy to experience every bit of it. Once again thank you so much for everything. We will never forget our stay in your home.

A neat bungalow located among lush greenery. Simple equipment, but there is everything you need. The host family is extremely nice and willing to help. They prepare delicious and hearty food - served outdoors. It's really worth ordering from them. Additionally, you can book an interesting trip to the Mekong Delta. We will remember our stay here well!

GermanyI don't even know how to put our amazing experience here into words as it would not do it justice! It already started with a great communication upfront (mostly via WhatsApp) to organize our transfer from Saigon to Ben Tre, the boat tour when we are there and the transfer to our next destination. All of this was finalized swiftly and easily as both Mr Kha and his sister Tu (who run the homestay together) speak English very well! When we arrived at the homestay and were warmly welcomed by Mr Kha, he showed us around the premises and got us a fresh coconut from the tree. We stayed in a 4-person bungalow with AC in the middle of a beautiful scenery with exotic plants, palm trees as well as papaya and jackfruit trees. The bungalow itself is very spacious, super-clean and nicely decorated. As it is quite remote (about 5kms from Ben Tre), we had most of our meals in the Homestay and they are home-cooked by the family. We loved every single dish that they made for us, offering both an incredible variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as catering to vegetarians. We have not had a single dish twice in the 4 days we stayed with them, and we always had the choice between a soup or a full meal; all of which at a low price. On one of the days, we were even invited to a family festivity and got to join in on the meals with the family. They also created a wonderful environment to meet other guests and meet new people! We also organized a Mekong boat tour directly which was one of the nicest tour experiences we had in Vietnam. The guide was part part of the family, spoke great English and led us to many interesting places in the Mekong parts around Ben Tre. For visiting the city, Tu organized a taxi for us which takes around 10 mins to take you to Ben Tre centre and costs around 3€. So if you are looking for a place in nature with a clean room/bungalow, delicious food and the kindest hosts imagineable, make sure to visit the Nguyet Que Homestay!

United KingdomNguyet Que homestay is such a special place - in all my years travelling I have never found such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere from Mr Kha and Ms Tu. They really care for their guests in a kind and sharing way where you will feel totally included as part of the family. The tours offered are great, not packed with other people and groups and you really feel the whole experience is a very unique and genuine insight into Mekong Delta life. The homestay is beautifully cared for and is a super relaxing atmosphere where you'll want to stay for longer. Dinners are like a small banquet of lovingly prepared Vietnamese homecooked food - no need to eat out! If you are considering other places, this is the one to choose. Thank you for such a great experience!

NetherlandsIts difficult. Service and food are outstanding. But there were some things that made our stay of four nights less pleasant them hoped. At any time of the day you hear karaoke. Sometimes loud sometimes far away. But i quess thats every where in the Mekong Delta. The matrasses of the four person house we stayed were too hard. Really hard. Some of us hardly slept. There are no curtains, so it is light early in the morning. There's a little musty smell in the house were we stayed. The bikes are old and rusty.
Excellent service from mister Kha. He picked us up from the airport and brought us back to HCMC. We had excellent food on a lovely spot in the garden. Nice place to hang in your hammock, read a book and listen to frogs and birds. The backwaters tour and sunset on the Mekong were beautiful. We enjoyed the waterpark in Ben tre which is really nice for the kids from 2 to 12.

Czech RepublicKaraoke. But fortunately for us it was exceeding our personal limits of loudness only one day from 4 days of stay. But approach of the host was admirable and when we complained about that he went and solved the situation.
The hosts are supper nice and make their maximum to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The dinner we additionally ordered as there is indeed not much other options was delicious. Position of the Homestay is little bit distant from Ben Tre but this is what we wanted. We really enjoyed trips on the motorbikes around and tour on the river canal organized by the hosts.

CanadaIf you're looking for a beautiful, safe place outside the busy city, this is it. You'll find Nguyet Que Homestay about a 10 minute drive down a long narrow road along the river, into the country side, just outside of Ben Tre city. It is one of the most beautiful, peaceful, perfectly manicured properties I have ever seen. There is fresh fruit growing, a resident duck and guineapig , and the nicest, sweetest host ( Kha) you'll ever meet. He will rent you scooters, which is a must to explore the endless roads that surround the property, and to get you to and from town. I also recommend a scooter trip to see Rang and his pet chicken on coconut island, which is about a 30 minute drive, and a short ferry ride over the river away. Kha, the host, and his wife are also amazing cooks.....breakfasts and dinners were amazing, and fresh coconuts picked right from the tree every morning. This place is for people who want to taste a little slice of authentic mekong delta. Highly recommend. Thank you, Kha!

VietnamIt's perfect.
I've been coming here regularly now for 9 or 10 months as a weekend break from HCMC. I love it. Lovely, welcoming family, beautiful gardens, amazing food and great location. You can borrow a bike/motorbike to explore the surrounding countryside or just relax in the gardens. The city of Ben Tre is close enough to visit easily and the owners can organise tours for you if you want to see a bit more of the area. Even when it rains, it's lovely to just sit on the balcony or in the garden, under cover, watching and listening to the rain. Being able to come here every few weeks has changed the way I feel about living in HCMC - and it's what I'll miss most if/when I leave. Don't just book one night, give yourself at least one full day to enjoy just being here.

United StatesThis homestay is exactly what you want after the chaos of HCMC - calm, quiet, clean, and perfectly managed. The family are delightful, professional and helpful. The food has great variety (even for vegetarians) and is superb. The location is rural enough to feel far from the city, but close enough to Ben Tre town to visit. Bicycles are available for free, and are an easy way to explore the labyrinth of canals and coconut plantations. Very, very nice.
