I wish there are events organised by the hostel staff for the backpackers to mingle. Not a lot of common spaces to mingle

The dorms were kept clean and spacious. The look felt new and a gave a good ambience. I was in a mixed dorm, despite being a female, get very comfortable and at ease.

It would’ve been nice if there was a comfier common area or another couch to sit on in the lobby. But if you need to work on a laptop there is ample desk space which is good.

Modern facilities, excellent showers! Definitely not a social hostel but was perfect for a couple of nights after a group tour. :) Loved that the room was swipe card activated so I always felt safe, and the lockers were good too.

A nearby club keeps the bass thumping all night long, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Earplugs are a must if you stay here.

he private room was modern and comfortable, and the slide in the building is a real eye-catcher! I especially appreciated the eco-friendly concept: having a water carafe in the room and dispensers in the hallway with chilled and hot water is a fantastic alternative to plastic bottles and helps reduce waste.

I only stayed for one night since I was going to a concert and I stayed at a dorm room. Everything was great: the location was convenient, room and the toilet were clean, staffs were friendly Highly suggested for solo traveler

I liked that Meander had options for private rooms and shared rooms. I booked a private room and I felt safe and comfortable. It was just the right size and they provided all the amenities a hotel would provide when it comes to hand wash, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, even toothbrush, razor and q-tips. I really appreciated the filtered water available just outside my door that I could fill when needed.

I had a wonderful stay at Meander Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City, and I can’t recommend it enough for budget travelers. The dormitory-style room I stayed in was shared with seven other people, but it was surprisingly spacious with plenty of storage space for everyone. The beds were incredibly comfortable and, despite being in a shared room, the design with privacy curtains made it feel cozy and not at all claustrophobic. The cleanliness of the hostel was also a standout. The toilets and shower rooms were spotless throughout my stay, which made for a very pleasant experience. For those who need to get work done, there’s a common workspace that’s quiet and comfortable—perfect for staying productive while traveling. One of the best things about Meander Saigon is its location. It’s close to many of Saigon’s major attractions, as well as great restaurants and cafes, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. A special shoutout to Spring, the receptionist, who speaks excellent English and was very accommodating. Overall, for its price, this hostel offers excellent value. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

It is on the pricier side of hostels but that’s because it’s so nice!

This doesn’t feel like a hostel at all, definitely hotel vibe and aesthetic. Very clean, comfy beds and a good location (plenty of places around here, about 20-25 mins walk to some of the key attractions - we didn’t mind though!)

The most clean dormitory I have slept in during my travels, and I’ve been to quite a few. Comfortable beds and with the curtain plenty of privacy. Super kind staff.
