Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaNothing specific that I didn't like. Everything was nice. The staff was very warm and cordial and helped us even with planning our trips in and around the city.
The room has everything required by a traveller. The owner has meticulously managed the tight spots in the property and created enough space for adults to move around comfortably. The Staff was very cordial and spoke english and always greeted us with a smile .

JordanThe bathroom is somewhat small.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, while it doesn’t have many options, each item was very well made. There was fresh fruit and home made yogurts and jams. The room was good, just like the pictures with a lot of natural light.

Beautiful rooms. Nice touches including the feet bath waiting outside our room one evening. Lovely staff. Great central location that is also a gated laneway in the evenings to stop cars and scooters cutting through.. hence really quiet at night. Beautiful surrounding architecture and a great locals restaurant at the corner in the main road. Nice complimentary sweets. Great balcony.

BangladeshActually nothing i can think off. I was completely satisfied with my stay.
I stayed there for two nights. As my flight was late at night, asked for 4 hours late check out. Paid around 30-35% of a full day charge for late check out.To me, it was a good deal. 1. The staffs are very professional, extremely supportive and eager to make your stay a memorable one. Specially, Mark, Nhi and Coe (if i am not mistaken the name of front desk staff) helped me a lot. 2. My room was exactly carbon copy of the booking dot com photos. No bad surprises. 3. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. 4. The hot water is available round the clock. 5. Breakfast is simple, bread, butter, jam, jelly, egg, fresh fruits (2-3 types),fresh juice, coffee/tea, Crepe (banana/chocolate/honey)... To me it was good.

United KingdomUnfortunately our room flooded when we had gone out for the day. The rain had been torrential and it seems the drains were slightly blocked with leaves and it came in via the balcony under the door. However, the staff had done such a good job of cleaning up the room and putting anything that was on the floor in their drying room that it was hard to tell it had even happened by the time we saw it! Anything damp soon dried out. They were brilliant at dealing with it and assured us they would check for leaves blocking drains on the balcony in future. This was back in May and I can't see any reviews mentioning this issue since so I think those of us staying that night were just unlucky and I feel reassured that the hotel staff will prevent this from happening to future as they were very attentive.
We enjoyed our stay here and found it to be a good base in HCM. The room was spacious and clean with a small balcony. Unfortunately the bathroom was quite stinky but I think it's just old pipes so not much that can be done about that. It's down a side street with a market along it, so it's worth bearing in mind that cars can't drive down it, so you'll need to carry your luggage down the street (easier with a backpack than a big case), though it's not far. We found it to be nice and quiet at night (nice to escape the chaos of the busy streets!) The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions of local attractions etc. It's a good base to explore the city - easy to walk around from here. There is an excellent cafe just a couple of doors down with incredible egg coffee and fresh pastries which you have to try!

United StatesIt’s located in a small alley, so cars might be reluctant to drive in for pick up/drop-off. Alley is connected to 2 main roads, one with the market, that’s less than a minute walk from the hotel, and one to a bigger main road, that’s about a 3-4 minute walk from the hotel.
Very friendly and accommodating staff They have free laundry, the rooms were nice and clean, and location is near many tourist spots

Charming hotel, central, spotless clean, great value for money. I stayed at Chez Mimosa Local, five minutes from Chez Mimosa Petite. It is located in a typical central Saigon alley, full of character and away from traffic noise. Good air conditioning and wifi. Staff are friendly and helpful - special thanks to Madame Fleur for the tasty breakfasts and to Marc for providing more Saigon tips and advice than I can count.
