Parking space wasn't great, when two or more cars are there it's not easy to get the car in or out of the parking

Great location. The staff was very accommodating, we requested a crib for our baby and it was all set up perfectly upon arrival at the hotel. We would definitely stay again on the future!

My son forgot his favorite toy dog in the bed, and some car toys in the room. We contacted the hotel the same day but they were not able to find it.

Before I start, I'd like to state that nothing I didn't like actually detracted from the experience and I still recommend the stay... The staff at the reception were very polite and kind, but could help a little more with informations like: tourist attractions and suggestions, how the facilities of the hotel works, what was included in the price (for example, we didn't know that coffee capsules in the room were included and discovered only at checkout) The room service was irregular, some days we had everything replaced: new towels, toilet paper, even towel swans in our bed. But in others, we had to ask for the toilet paper and on another day they didn't put a new bathroom mat (we used one of the towels to step on after the shower). The hair conditioner ran out and was not replaced either. The room was really dark, even with all the lights on. It is cozy and everything, but even with the little lamp on the counter, it was difficult for my wife to put her make up on. My suggestion is to provide at least one good spot of light specifically for that. Breakfast was overpriced, since it had only a few options and not even one typical dish from Uruguay (like alfajores or dulce de leche). The croissants and cakes were not very pleasant as well, the coffee was also very bad.

I was celebrating 2 years of marriage and previously informed the staff. They gave us 2 welcome drinks at the check in and also gifted us with chocolate and a very cute message. One day the room service made towel swans in our bed, only a detail but made us happy. The room was very clean when we got there and a good size. The bathroom was good, nice shower. The location is also good, since it is near a lot of restaurants and grocery stores. All the receptionists were very kind, specially Vanessa. They offer all the meals in the hotel (at the same -expensive- price as most restaurants in the area), which is very practical when is just too cold to go outside, rainy or you're just too tired from all of tourist walks.

Air conditioning did not function when you left the room so when you returned it was really hot and the system took a long time to kick in.

The staff at the front office and breakfast area were very professional and top notch and I enjoyed talking and interacting with them. I’ve told many of my friends who enjoy to travel the Soro Montevideo is wonderful

We did not have a great view. No on site parking.

The room was well designed, with good space even disabled friendly. The lift was big and we could all go at once with all our luggage in it. We did not have breakfast so can not comment on that. Location very good walking distance to the sea. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Exercise equipment needs more choices for the handles on weight system. River view is an overstatement as the view is mostly of the square.

Lovely spacious room with solid and comfortable furnishings. Large bathroom. Varied breakfast choices with option of eggs cooked to order. Exercise room and rooftop hot tub were clean and efficiently staged. Lovely view from roof top. Everything was well maintained

The fridge in the room didn't work well, it didn't cool at all. One of the beds had a very old mattress that slumped when lying down, needs to be replaced with a new mattress.

The hotel is excellent! Very well located, 100 meters from Poncitos beach, with restaurants, shops, currency exchange, and markets within walking distance. The room is very big, comfortable. Excellent bathroom with new towels and bedding. Breakfast is amazing, lots of variety. The staff is very polite. We stayed twice at this hotel on our trip to Uruguay, and we will certainly stay again in the next one.

The breakfast was good, but it's inconvenient that a hostess or a waiter is watching you when you type food on the buffet. You also need to ask for boiling water. Not all food is freely available. It's not very comfortable that you need to communicate with the waiter, it seems that you are being controlled.

the gym/ spa area. pretty much neglected and unusable.

It’s a great location across the street from the beach. the room was large enough and the bed was very comfortable, bedding felt brand new. shower was amazing. I liked the ironing board/iron in the room, I didn’t have to call down to have one sent up for a change. I would stay here again and would recommend it.
