Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

UruguayAlthough the rooms had good dimensions the hotel overall is in dire need of maintenance. There are cracks on the walls and furniture, the painting is peeling in some areas and the elevator is small for the number of rooms and floors. Otherwise it was a good stay.

AustraliaWe booked the penthouse but not as great as it sounds. It was very tired and needed a revamp and a good clean. Outdoor table had one chair, the terrace was dirty and mouldy. The dead pot plants had plenty of cigarette butts despite being a non smoking hotel. The breakfast was very poor and extra costs.

BrazilBreakfast is quite subpar, especially for the price charged, could be much better. Apart from that, the bathroom is quite disappointing as well, it is very small and the shower is pretty lousy, no wonder there are no pictures of the bathrooms here.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the location is excellent. Couldn't hear any noise coming from other rooms as well, which is great, although the noise from the construction site across the street was quite loud in my room.

United StatesWhat I didn't like was the noise. During two nights of my stay, some people booked a room on the 11th floor for a night to have a party with loud music; I called and the people at the front desk had to deal with them. Then, during the 2 weekdays before my departure they were fixing things on the 12th floor where they have the gym and a large terrace and the noise of a power drill was very intense and loud and I finally had to call the front desk to complain and they did stop the noise. Now, I spent three weeks in the hotel, so I had time to experience all of these things but if you spend only 2 or 3 days you will not experience any of these or if you book a room in the lower floors.
I booked an apartment on the 11th floor. It was very nice and comfortable. It had a beautiful terrace with impressive view of the area. This apartment exceeded my expectations because I was not expecting an entire apartment with full kitchen, good sized bedroom and bathroom and dining/sitting area. The maids were very helpful and friendly as well as the rest of the staff.

United KingdomThe hotel hasn’t had any investment in years - evidenced in really old carpets, chipped wall paint and doors, old showers and appliances, tired linen and towels. The one lift is slow and totally insufficient for 10 floors (~100 guests). The breakfast room was understaffed / underinvested - at peak times c. 9am there was not enough crockery or cutlery for all the guests. Parking spaces are tiny and really hard to manoeuvre.
