We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GreeceI found the kitchen not that well equipped, but you can definitely still make it work.
That location is really good, especially if you're arriving weird hours as it's just a 10 min walk from Tres Cruces bus terminal. The beach front and the historic center are also pretty close. It was overall super clean and the stuff was very helpful and nice.

PeruUnfortunately it's a strange place. There was no AC, just fans which were annoying and loud. It was so hot and loud, I didn't sleep at all. Toilet seat was broken, it was actually dangerous to use because you can cut yourself in the genital area. I didn't get a towel. Also, they discriminate men since female dorm is way cheaper than "mixed dorm" which is actually a male dorm since all woman enjoy better price.

United StatesI strongly recommend DO NOT book this hotel because you will be disappointed and get stranded in a foreign country at night, read the bad reviews first, similarly experience happened to me with the daughter and dad situation. I booked 2 nights here and first night was canceled because when I messaged owner to let him know I will arrive after 8pm by bus and he told me he CANNOT wait and told me check in time is 8am -4pm I couldn’t find any affordable hotels so I had to sleep at the bus station because the owner had no empathy for foreigners, thanks god I find out before going there, i couldn’t imagine how scary it was at night. Next morning I messaged owner to let him know I’m on my way and he didn’t respond until 9am ish, I arrived at the property around 7am and the door was locked, so I sit outside waited for 2 hours, this is the worse hotel I ever Experience of my life so I booked with Selina and paid twice as much for the price and didn’t care anymore, I just didn’t feel comfortable and safe to stay at this place the way I was treated and the owner doesn’t care if you come early you have to wait outside and cant wait inside the hotel or put your stuff while you wait for check in, so if you book this hotel, don’t expect you going to stay there because there no one at the property to check you in, you will waste your time waiting and money and ruin your trip, go book somewhere else and pay little more, this place is not worth it. Don’t let the good reviews fool you, they only post good reviews because the bad ones was removed and I had to contact booking.com to write this again
My previous review was removed by the owner so I asked booking to let me writing this honest review again. Please read the bad reviews before you book this hotel, do not let the good reviews fool you, first they do not have anyone there to check you in after 4pm so if your flight or bus get there after 4pm the owner will not wait for you, you will be stranded on streets or look for last minute accommodation but good luck if you have WiFi and pay extra because the owner doesn’t want to wait, second this place ONLY take cash, and it’s unsafe and scary to walk at night because the homeless people around the property, and if you arrive early you have to wait OUTSIDE of the hotel until the owners come to check you in because the door is Locked, could be 1-5 hrs wait, I waited 2 hrs and left so I never got to stay at this place, and forget about leaving the bags after check out because you can’t get back in after 4Pm so Be aware!. If you have a morning flight or bus to catch the next day then this place is for you but I wouldn’t recommend it there’s so many hotel around the area offers the same value with 24 hrs reception.

HondurasThe employees who are venezuelan at the front desk are really really rude and not friendly. Whenever I said 'thank you' to the female receptionist she never answered, never smiled and it seemed that she did not like being asked questions. I have been to hostels in many countries and they usually are very friendly and talkative. Now, about the male receptionist, I wanted to stay two more nights... when I said that I would aim to make a reservation on booking he got so upset and told me that I should book it with him there and not through booking. I did not like that he wanted me to book it with him with a higher price... I truly believe that if these two receptionist treat customers they way they treated my mum and I, the hostel will lose clients sooner or later.
The owner is such a sweetheart. Because she is the owner she is really nice and it is pretry obvius she carestía about the customers.
