Smell of incense was nauseating in the reception area.

Room size is good. Shower was nice. Loved the old building. Was good to have parking near. Could walk to waterfront and historical centre with gorgeous La Puerte Mercado.

The bed was uneven and there was no window in the room; however, I was aware of what I was paying for, and the location more than made up for the basic amenities and relatively uncomfortable and uneven bed. The price was also good, so no complaints.

Awfull illumination throughout the hotel super cold and exposed light bulbs everywhere makes you feel like you're walking into a warehouse instead of a hotel definitely a sad and not welcoming feeling

I made it a mistake while making the reservation I needed two rooms i got one.. the guy told me that the hotel was completely booked but after 2 hours he worked his magic and call me saying that he had one room availabe for me. Great customer care!!

rooms have windows to central covered courtyard, there was some disturbance from one room, but hotel staff dealt with it. the front door bell can be heard in the bedrooms at any time of day or night.

You need to do three floors by stairs. The room didn't have any windows (the hotel had others with). AC was a bit noisy

It feels like it needs some renovating… the floor in the shower was not tight, so when you stepped on it water would come up from underneath. and no shower gel or shampoo? disappointing. Cigarette stains on the bed cover are not nice either. The place was ok but I didn’t like the “vibe” it gave.

Location is perfect, right in the center. You can walk to most things you want to do as a tourist. Rooms are still quiet and peaceful though since they face “inwards” and not towards the street. Bed was very comfy, slept well. Good value for money.

The big guy behind reception asked me for my passport info after I had already provided it upon check in. Later, I informed him my girlfriend was coming over and he said okay. When she got there, he made her wait in the lobby. I brought her up to my room and while we were there, he knocked on my door and said that she had to leave as there was only one person on the reservation. I had one night with her in Montevideo and he ruined it. Creepy and ridiculous behavior on his part.

The location was good and the cost was affordable. The room and bathroom were clean which was nice.

The room didn't have any windows and I thought I must've missed something. But I can't find this information anywhere? If they refer to inner courtyard view we had to open the door to see this and the inner courtyard, although being quite cool, was indoors and the area where reception and eating area was. No window just put me off a little bit, and I would've appreciated if this information was more clear when booking.

The staff was very friendly at check in and throughout our stay. It seems like we were in a really good neighborhood, close to restaurants and bars. The hotel was quite cool with its layout and building.

The location is good. Nearby are cafes and shops. The room is comfortable, a comfortable bed, table, chairs, wardrobe. There is a refrigerator. The bathroom is equipped with a separate shower area, shampoo and soap. Polite, pleasant staff.

I had to make check out 1 day before for family problem but the hotel DIDN' T HELP me with refund for the night i didnt use. That was no kind of them. Never go there again. Staff no gentle at all. Please choose other place to stay Then ROOM HAD NO WINDOWS. IT WAS TERRIFYING BECAUSE I SUFFER by CLAUSTROPHOBY. terribile experience. WHEN I ASKED FOR WIFI THEY TOLD ME IT DOESNT WORK. TERRIBLE
