Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LithuaniaWe didn’t get the tent we booked with a queen-size bed. Initially, we were offered a tent near the outdoor toilets, which we refused. This completely ruined the mood—it felt like they didn’t care about guests staying for just one night. Additionally, no information about breakfast time or Wi-Fi was provided to us.
A nice and tidy place with stunning views. The experience of sleeping under the stars was truly magical!

HungaryOn colder days would be useful (and more sustainable) to provide thicker blankets for the nights (instead of letting the AC on&off running)
The open kitchen is well equipped, and there are multiple available BBQ spot. The heating/cooling AC is brilliant!

United StatesTents cannot be locked, we had some broken zippers, the bed we had was too small for 2 people it was hardly queen size. The table could be bigger and some more lights would be nice to have. The AC was unusable at night since it’s as loud as a jet engine. Nights gotten very cold so we had more difficulty staying warm than problems with the heat during the day. Not sure there would be more blankets available since we didn’t ask.
This is really something different to your typical hotel, yes tents have AC and a bed but that’s about it. Lovely fireplace in front of every tent with table and chairs. Shared bathrooms were plenty available and reasonably clean. I enjoyed the stay but there could be some improvements being made. The staff was the nicest you can have 10/10, fresh pancakes every morning, coffee and tea is available too, anything else you have to bring. There is a full shared kitchen available where you can store any food items. Everyone can use the shared BBQ area with propane or make a fire in front of their tents. Firewood is available for purchase or bring your own. This is still camping so be prepared for that. It’s an hour drive to the Zion Nationalpark. WiFi is available but very spotty depending where your tent is located. Nights are pretty quiet with the occasional car driving by on the dirt road, we didn’t hear anything from any of the other guests.

LatviaBe prepared for occasional power outages—we had one in the evening, nothing crazy, but I was glad I had power banks to charge our phones. The area is somewhat lit, but you need a flashlight if your tent is up the hill.
The experience of staying in Zion Glamping Adventures is totally unique. It's like a big community of travelers in a large camp site. But it's quite comfortable as well—our tent had AC, power outlet, large king-sized bed. There's a shared fridge in the center of the site, a couple of shared showers and toilets. Everything is clean and well-maintained. In the morning there was breakfast with pancakes and coffee, in the evening there was a large firepit with smores for all, where you could sit a chat with fellow travelers.

United StatesBreakfast was only pancakes and coffee, having some fruit or eggs would be great. The mattresses were so soft comparing with other glamping/hotels.
The tents were so beautiful, Restrooms and showers where clean and neat. Illumination at night time was gorgeous. So easy to drive to the place. Our tent was a little bit far from the restroom, but nothing crazy. Fire place and furniture was perfect. My husband and I had an amazing experience there.

I want to extend a warmhearted thank you to Ryan and Melanie for hosting me. This was my first solo trip, and I had some worries about staying at a glamping site, but I’m so glad I did! The place is absolutely adorable, safe, and feels like home. Melanie, thank you for the fantastic massage—it was truly healing. She arranged it in an open-air space during sunset, which was a beautiful gift to my body and mind after a long drive. I stayed in tent 18, which had a breathtaking view. At night, the place transforms into a magical scene with lights and a cozy fireplace. The next morning, I joined other guests on a hike to Water Canyon, and on the way back, we discovered a lovely river spot with a small, picturesque waterfall where we swam—definitely worth checking out! Afterward, I headed to Zion. I know some guests use this location as a base for exploring Zion and the Grand Canyon. Ryan can even guide you on the quickest route to Zion, which is super helpful. There’s so much more I could say about this amazing place, but it’s truly a must-visit. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to Ryan and Melanie—they’ll help you with anything you need to plan the perfect vacation. Ryan, thank you for the fresh morning coffee and the homemade goodies. The sunsets and sunrises here will forever be a cherished memory.

BelgiumGreat location ! Coming from Monument and just before Zion, quiet location. Great hike up to Water Canyon (upon suggestion from the host). We had a dry tent but it cooled down for the night so it was just right, a little cold. An extra blanket would have been a nice addition but it was ok. Comfortable beds, plenty room inside. Fantastic pancakes in the morning with tea/coffee which was great! The sunset wagon ride was great fun!
