We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe bed is uncomfortable (too squeaky, so you hear EVERYTHING, especially your neighbors). The water pressure in the bathroom sink is extremely low as compared to the kitchen sink. Also, no iron or ironing board is provided in the room, and the air vents need cleaning. As far as location, this is a HEAVY traffic area, especially in the a.m. and p.m. rush hour, so plan accordingly.
The room is equipped with a full-sized refrigerator and microwave.

MauritiusStaff does not provide tourist information. They don't tell anything about interesting places to visit when asked. No guide for tourists there. The place is forestry. Supermarket is one hour walking from location. No bus and train facilities. For a tourist, you feel stuck in the hotel and taxi fares cost a lot to move from place to another. Unless you hire a car, that's fine.

United StatesThe walls are so thin I could hear my next door neighbor conversations. The bed frames are made of stealth and not well grounded. You have to pay for your internet. So I used my phone hotspot. My room was always bright from street lights at night time because they don’t have curtains only blinds.

United StatesThe whole impression of this hotel crosses out the unprofessionalism of the reception staff. My electronic key didn't work and I couldn't get inside the hotel after I went down to the parking lot to get some things from my car. A girl named Sarah refused to help me. She said that neither I nor my husband were registered at the hotel, and no one was living in our room. She was rude and didn't even apologize when the situation was taken care of by another employee. My phone was left in the room, and I couldn't even call my husband to come down for me. Be prepared that you may not be allowed inside because the employees do not know how to use a computer! Also on the second day in the toilet there was a terrible smell of their sewage.
The hotel is new, clean. Good location and quiet place.

The bed was very squeaky I don't know why but it was comfortable but very squeaky as soon as you move it makes a loud squeaky sound

United StatesHotel charged me an extra $150 for "Graffiti". I noticed the graffiti on the kitchen cabinet which was already there prior to my check in. It was wirtten in black sharpie and it said "Worst place in the world". I did not pay more attenetion to it at the time. After my stay when I saw the $150 on my bank statement, I talked to the Manager on the phone to which she said, rooms are checked prior and if you saw it you should have said something. I'm in a lost of words.... I only was scheduled for one night, if it was so bad that I had to write "Worst place in the world" on the kichen cabinet, then why would I extened my stay for one more night!?!? I asked if there is a corporate number I can call, the manager provided the number for another location. I also asked for her name and she hung up on me. I then called the Corporate office, turns out the manager name is Tiffany. But I am out of luck, the charge is "final" and they can not reverse it. Needless to say, I will never stay here again. What's there to prevent another customer to get charges $150 for graffiti if they didn't do? If the customer didn't see the graffiti or pay no attention to it, the hotel can give the same excuse charge customers an extra $150 over and over to no end.
